Personally I have never been one to have an overly muscular avatar either in my every day interactions or for photos but I thought I would give it a try. Tellaq has been around for almost as long as I can remember so with the name recognition I decided to photograph one of their skins that is an exclusive right now to the Skin Fair. Before I talk about it though I want everyone to keep in mind that it is made for the Actonon Mesh Body 2.0 that can also be purchased at the event.
The “Bitcher” skin by Tellaq is specifically for the CATWA Skell head and Actonon Body. I have a sneaking suspicion that it is a take on the popular video game and now Netflix series “The Witcher”. It only comes in the tone that I’m blogging but the CATWA applier HUD does offer lots of different choices of scars, beard and hairbase styles. It is a detailed skin which would be great for fantasy sim type roleplaying and for those that take a lot of fantasy inspired pics for their blogs or for the fun of it.
Another fun item at the event is the “Cheeky Carving Pack 1” by Rekt Royalty. The best way I can think of to describe it other than by the pictures is that it is a fresh wound that is likely the result of going to a body modification artist and having scarification done. The pack includes BOM layers and an Omega Applier HUD with 6 different designs. I chose to go with the lightning design because it best fit my personality and what I wanted with this look.
Sometimes the person you’d take a bullet for is behind the trigger.

This post in a way is redundant in the fact that I’m doing a fall scene yet where I’m from we maybe had like a weeks worth if that of actual fall. It’s just before Thanksgiving and it’s more winter than anything but that is the unpredictability of it. Anyway, I found some inspiration venturing around sims that are found on the Blogger and Vlogger Network’s list of rezzable sims. I wasn’t necessarily looking for a fall background and in the same vein I was also not looking for a winter one but would have made it work if I’d found one. I really liked the colors that Pegasoi had as I roamed around and stumbled upon a bench with a very nice looking home as a nice backdrop (even though it’s not a backdrop in the SL sense of the matter).
One of the hairs that lock&tuft released while I was on my sabbatical/hiatus (not sure what I really want to call it at this juncture) is called “Groom”. I’m not sure if that’s a reference to say a wedding groom or just that it’s a well groomed style. My mind sometimes tends to try and make rhyme or reason for things even if there may not be any intended meaning behind something. I really like that it comes with both a normal style and a messy one so that conceivably I could wear the normal version at the beginning of the day and by the end have on the messy one before I log out to show that I’ve potentially been up to no good, right?
Somewhere in between the time of me being away from the blogging world and now, Tori Torricelli offered to their VIP group members the “Cormac Scarf & Sweater” for free as well as one to gift a family member or friend. I thought this was one of the coolest things for a store to do and I had grabbed mine (it was at TMD when the offer was available) and have been sitting on it for a bit of time until I thought that it would work for this particular blog photo session. It’s perfect for a fall day jaunt without feeling like your virtual self would come down with some kind of illness (yes I’m aware it’s not possible but work with me here). The scarf and sweater both have HUDs (this is for the Fatpack version) with many different styles to choose from and I went through several before I decided on what you see in the photo. This is by no means my usual pallet but I wanted to try something different and that worked with the colors that were around me.
I am quite happy with the results and maybe this is a good sign of things to come.
Winter is an etching, spring a watercolor, summer an oil painting and autumn a mosaic of them all.

It’s been a few since I last did a post (5 days to be exact) but I’ve been taking time to think about a lot of things; this blog being one of them. I think that if I’m going to continue to do things here that I’m going to need to change some of the ways I do them, which is what I’ve taken a small break to figure out. At the top of the list I’ve been going through the list of partnerships that I have and I know that some of them will be trimmed because right now I’m just not at the right place to give everyone the attention they deserve and or they just do not fit my plan going forward.
There are also some things that I’ve made a commitment to events wise but I do not want to be someone who says they will do something and then doesn’t. I will make good on this and finish out the remaining things that I’ve signed up for but after that it will depend on where I am at before I make any further plans or apply for things.
With that off of my chest, today’s entry is another group shot between myself, Brenna, Lucky and Stef with most of us potentially blogging our versions of the scene. At the time of writing this Stef has posted her view of the scene which came out really nicely (in fact I feel it’s the best so far) and I’m sure Lucky’s will come soon as well. I’m not 100% sure that Brenna did anything with this shoot but I’ve linked everyone’s websites so you can click on their names to check out what they all have going.
The soundtrack to this blog was one that I wanted to cover for a while (consider it a bucket list item for blogging) although I’m going to admit that I’m not very confident with how my version turned out. The scene as it was in front of me was much better in person than I feel it came out in finality but I’m probably more critical of myself than anyone.
I’m going to leave it at that for now but definitely check out the links to everyone’s sites and even look them up on Flickr and follow them (as well as fave their great work).

Sometimes when looking through things that come through as review packs from some of the partnerships I have there are things that I usually know that there will be a few things that will likely not end up on the blog because of my comfort zone but I’ve been trying more as of late to work outside of it. This blog is visual proof of that and I am not sure how I feel about it quite yet but my initial impression is favorable.
Hitting a small stride on the naughty side, I have some items from The Men Jail that definitely fall within the category of outside of my normal stylings. I’m going to start out with the “FiDa Shorts” by Cubura. This very small shorts accentuate a certain part of the male anatomy in a very defining way especially if choosing some of the lighter colors that come in the HUD from the FATPACK.
I have to say that idealistically they are a tad snug (you’re welcome for that nugget of info).
Another thing that I don’t normally feature in my posts is decor but the “Sadistic Pleasure Rack” by Short Leash helped me come up with an overall idea for what I wanted to do with the pic which was delve into the kinky side of the world. There’s plenty of tools (not really sure if that is the right terminology but oh well don’t shoot the messenger) hanging on the rack to ideally make for an interesting night. Yes it might only be for show but it’s very detailed and would be a great addition to someone’s “play room” if you catch my drift.
From the Skin Fair I am wearing the “Vergil Skin” from Kooqla which is a store that I am vaguely familiar with but had never really tried their products before. I was pleasantly surprised by what I found with the detail of the skin as well as the range of skin tones (of what I am wearing tone 03). The body skin has just the right musculature.
In addition to that also gave myself an edgier look with the “Fade To Black Tattoo” by MooLoo Body Art. There are so many good things to say about this tattoo…such as I like the clouds and moon up by the collarbone/shoulder area as well as the portrait bust of one of my favorite authors, Edgar Allen Poe, adorned right on the back leg.
I really see wearing this tattoo on a more consistent basis in the near future which is not a usual modus operandi of mine (I do not usually wear tattoos all the time or for more than a few days). With each new release I continue to become more and more impressed by MooLoo and in my opinion the store can hang with the heavyweights like Dappa, Speakeasy and even Bolson.
There were likely a lot of song choices I could have used to be the backing but I dug into my magical bag of music knowledge and pulled out a gem from the late 90’s. This song was likely one of the only songs that trended at that time for Days Of The New but at the time it got a lot of radio airplay as I recall having heard it a lot on the weekends when I could stay up longer and listened to music before falling asleep.
I feel like it has an element to it that fits with the scheme of the blog and who knows maybe it was written for situations such as this? Music unless the writer explicitly says what it is…is open to interpretation. Whichever the case is, it works for me and I’ve now hammered out another blog that I can put to rest and leave all of you with the style credits.
Time to relax a little and get ready for the weekend I hope everyone has some great things planned and until I return with some fun new items I hope everyone takes care. Laterrrrrrrrrrrr!
And now I stand, and I peel for more.

Hello again! I’m back once again with some cool things that I wanted to share with the interwebs and despite the fact that I’ve been on this blogging journey so long there are still some things that I feel I lack when it comes to photography. Close-ups to me are a slight weakness because I always want to include things from the background yet it takes away from being able to showcase certain items (such as eyes or facial tattoos).
For this reason, I made sure to capture some extreme close-ups for the two items in my look that can be found at Skin Fair. I’m starting out with the “XpReSS Ur Self” facial tattoo set from Lush. This facial ink is applied to your cheek and is unisex with 23 different words/phrases to pick from. I personally chose “Fearless” as a message to myself that when it comes to creating art virtually that I’ve been around long enough that being afraid of failing is not an option and even when setbacks occur that it simply takes brushing yourself off and hitting it harder will pay off.
It is my passion and determination that has helped me achieve great goals and allowed me to work with great stores and events.
Recently I blogged one of several items from Gloom (it was a shape for the LeLutka “Guy” head). In this blog I am featuring the “Pills Collection” eyes that I find to be very excellent quality and in one of a few moments that I didn’t select to feature blue eyes. I like how the honey ones look and it fit with the rest of my visasge well.
To give you a better idea of what these items look like, here’s a close-up for more detail.
Most already know by now that Catwa has released a new male head which is named “Gac” after the well known Stray Dog owner, Gac Akina. With it being brand spanking new, there haven’t been any skins created for it as of yet so I am wearing a recent male release from Session Skins “Damian”. Gac has a very strong jawline with an edgy look to it and I played just a little with the included shape and the results are appealing (at least to me).
This release dropped just right before Skin Fair opened and could have been part of the event but with the “Jade” head also coming out at the same time, us fellas lucked out to not have to fight the massive traffic of the event to get our hands on the head. I am looking forward to seeing what skin creators come up with to make this handsome face even more so.
This is about all the time I have for this post as it is short, sweet and to the point. Don’t worry though as I’m sure I will be back sooner than anticipated with more fun things that I’ve discovered. Until next time….see yaaaaaa!

It is that time again guys and gals for makeovers galore all in part to Skin Fair 2019! A cornucopia of new mesh heads, skins, make-ups, shapes, tattoos and accessories galore all so that you can upgrade your existing look or completely give yourself a new one. Some of us would love for that to be as easy in the real world but it doesn’t work that way unfortunately which is why it is so much fun to be able to do it virtually through the Second Life platform.
Batten down the hatches and bare with me as this post is very information heavy with quite a few pictures . This is my second post for the event (the first was pre-opening) so I have visual maps of the layout for all of you to click on and get an idea where you want to go before you even land. Just keep in mind that the first day or so will be pretty traffic heavy so if you don’t get in right this minute these items will not be going anywhere.
The event lasts until the 24th of March which gives everyone plenty of time to do their thing.
Vendetta is participating in this years fair and I am familiar with them for some of their releases from The Men Jail as well as Hipster Men’s Event. “Adrian” is one of three exclusives and has been created for LeLutka branded heads (Andrea and Guy respectively). The tones as you will see in the chart that I am going to post below are more golden in nature (think various tans). The face is mature yet still youthful and can be given a beard treatment to look a bit older if desired.
A shape is included in the package but if you are first giving this brand a try, the body skins are sold separately at their in-world location which I will also provide a taxi for you in the style portion of the blog; if you are curious as to which tone that I am wearing I can tell you that I have on Tone 4.
For someone who has an affinity for body ink, Skin Fair is going to be a treasure trove for me with many designers releasing tattoos as part of their exclusives or if they are only tat creators then all of their exclusives will be body modifications. Carol G., one of the fair’s proud sponsors has released this nifty (yes I’m old school so I can say stuff like that) tattoo called “Insight”.
It comes in two versions (Black+White and Color) with 4 different pigments (Dark to Light). Looking at this tattoo closely you’ll be able to make out some familiar icons from pop culture fame (Hint: look on the back!) This is my first go round with Carol G. even though I am familiar with the name through various events but that is one of the great things about being a blogger for an event is that you can sample stores you may not have considered before.
I’ll definitely be keeping a closer eye on the releases from this store, highly impressed with this tattoo for sure. This is one I’d recommend so now you know!
As promised, here are the Skin Fair 2019 sim maps so you can begin to plan your mad shopping sprees. Enjoy everything that Skin Fair has to offer and be sure to come back as well to see what I’ll be featuring next from the event!
Transitioning from Skin Fair to another event just opening today is The Men Jail, where I am wearing a hair from L&E called “Helton” in Black (Blonde and Brown packs are also available). Style wise I would say it reminds me a bit of a modern mohawk and that prompted me to go the punk rock route with my soundtrack choice for this blog (in start contrast to last blogs dabble into Country).
The Ramones were pioneers of the punk rock scene and have inspired many artists that have come after them and newer artists are being influenced by their music as I write this. To find a hair that reflects this type of music is something I feel is important to the overall theme of the blog entry.
Now that you are aware (which you probably already were anyway) that there are new events open (Collabor88 has also opened today as well but I don’t have anything to blog from that but it is a point of interest) there’s no excuse to why you can’t start off your weekend with a little retail therapy and become a brand new you or find a new outfit or accessories.
On that note I am going to turn you over to the much anticipated stylings of this blog entry and take a bit of a breath and gear up for the next exciting entry for me as I navigate through the wonders of Skin Fair and other events/items within my grasp. I can already assure you in the posts to come there will be some different things from me.
See you around the corner everyone!

This blog was something I knew I wanted to write but I wasn’t sure how at first. It’s a dedication in two parts: one to someone I did not really know but felt like I did and one that I knew very well. Memorials are always tough because you’re drawing from emotions that come from deep within you but once words are on paper or typed through a keyboard it tends to be a freeing feeling.
Five years ago today, actor and humanitarian Paul Walker tragically died in a car crash. Celebrities are always put on a pedestal by their fans even if they are not the best people but I feel with Paul that was justified because what you saw is what you got with him and he had a good heart regardless of the talent he possessed. Even though I did not know him nor did I ever meet him his death was truly hard for me because of the joy he brought to my life through his work and I tend not to get overly emotional about things like this but even with all the time that has passed, it still hurts to think about and watch things with him in it or documentaries.
One thing that I’ve taken from this and from learning about who he was outside of the fame that he wasn’t necessarily comfortable with is that being a good and kind person costs nothing and it takes no effort at all to be better not only for yourself but for all the people around you; if I had a glass of anything at all I’d toast to his memory.
November 2018 marks the second anniversary of the passing of one of my virtual best friends, she’d probably give me some crap because she never wanted anyone to make a big deal or fuss about her but she was a one of several people that I stuck around the grid and also one of my biggest support systems. When I got my start I was a teenage avatar and she helped me with figuring out the ropes of what it meant to be one since my real teen years weren’t all that enjoyable.
She encouraged me to find a family to be a part of and even though I had reservations about it at first I took the leap and the two wonderful people that became my virtual parents are still today and I wouldn’t change that for all the King’s gold. She also encouraged me to enroll into school so that I could attend classes with her and I figured I didn’t have anything to lose; it isn’t until now that I realized it was something that was meant to happen and where I was supposed to be.
It is at the school where I met my wife and if you asked her she kinda knew that we would have wound up on this road even back then.
Fondly I look back on the exploring my best friend and I did and the crazy games of Greedy we played and talks about our favorite things like movies and books and even her taste in music which even though it was much different in some instances as mine it was always still a good time. Even today whenever I see anything about the Wizard of Oz it brings me back to an easier time.
Abby, thank you for the friendship and the belief that I was a better person than even I thought I could be…I miss you and I’m sure we’ll get to pick on one another again someday.
Usually I do not section off my blogs from the beginning to the information about what I’m wearing but I felt like there needed to be a break between the bit of emotion that took part in that section. The song I chose for this blog from the moment I heard it was meaningful and was even more so after I looked up what it was about…which is essentially losing someone close to you and how it kind of rocks your world in some form.
In the picture frame I chose one of my favorite pictures of Paul Walker as I didn’t really have very many good ones or even anything recent of Abby but I’m sure there will be a time when I come across something and do another blog to honor her.
The cap and hair I am wearing is the “Shelby Hat and Hair” from Modulus that recently dropped at the current round of Uber. I love this style of hat because of how vintage it is and I knew that it fit with the rest of my look. Word on the street that is patterned after a character from the show “Peaky Blinders” which I’ve never seen but I’ve got it on my list of “things to watch when I’ve watched everything before it”. I’m sure it’s good as it has Cillian Murphy in it (he played Scarecrow in The Dark Knight Trilogy).
With the different colors/fabrics that the cap can be changed with via the included HUD it allows the ability to coordinate with just about any outfit. Another bonus is a standalone version of the cap is also included in the package so it can be warn without the hair which I think is great.
The suit I am wearing is an exclusive version of the “Gage Premium Tuxedo” by L&B Swear but is the “Pinstripe Edition” which has 5 suit colors with pinstripes (including one with a black lapel just like the original Gage tux offers). What’s even more awesome is that you can use your HUD from the original tux and have added colors for the waistcoat, shirt, tie, and pocket square for even more options to go with.
I know that it is considered to be a tuxedo but in my mind if you don’t use the black lapel version it’s more like a suit because of the regular tie (I feel tuxedo’s having bowties are what set them apart from being more than just a suit). Another thing I thought of about this is that the look also makes me look sort of like a gangster from the 40’s (or at least that is what my friend Lucky said at least).
Now feels as good a time as any to wrap up this blog entry as to me I feel like I covered everything that I wanted to and also the amount of emotional energy that it took to write the beginning is starting to set in and I don’t regret opening up as I don’t usually do that. I know that some appreciate reading more than just credits and I try to at least offer more than just a picture and where to find things as there is a bit of a void where that is concerned.
During this time of year it seems like I tend to do more raw feeling type stuff that has more emotion to it because blogging is not only just something fun (or just a hobby) it’s one of those things that helps me get things off my mind or things I’ve repressed because I tend to be more inward. It’s hard to ask people to understand it really and I don’t really consider myself lesser of a person because everyone has their things they deal with; I just find a way to use it to my advantage.
Soon enough I may even try doing some winter pics or possibly even ones that deal with that thing that happens towards the end of December (yeah that thing). Until the next time I post I’ll be off in search of the next conversation and to anyone who actually took the time to read this entire entry you have my sincerest gratitude.

Let me tell you ’bout a place
Somewhere up-a New York way
Where the people are so gay
Twistin’ the night away
Here they have a lot of fun
Puttin’ trouble on the run
Man, you find the old and young
Twistin’ the night awaySam Cooke, ♫Twistin The Night Away♫
My taste in music is a broad range that includes a wide variety of genre’s and extends from what is current to many tunes from the past. I decided that combine a look that is fitting today with a song from way back. Sam Cooke had many songs that are still highly regarded today but one that sticks out in my mind is “Twistin’ The Night Away” because once you hear it you can’t help but want to move because it gives you such wonderful vibes.
Admittedly I’ve been a bit behind with responsibilities blogging for Bakaboo and I truly love the work that Ocean does with his creations. To me I feel like I need to be in a certain mood to come up with something creative and fitting for these styles because something ordinary and plain will just not do. Hopefully though I will be able to step forward and give these items the proper care they deserve.
For the look I have in this entry are the “Max” jacket and pants (though to me they are more like shorts as they do not go to the ankle). I think it is neat that with the jacket there is are cutouts on both the front and back with mesh to see through to your skin along with an ample amount of colors to choose from. The pants themselves have the same colors/patterns to match the jacket but if you want to be daring you can mix them up as well.
There is an ultimate edition available where you get the pattern on the jacket I am wearing which if it were me seeing this on another site it would convince me more to look into getting the special edition just for that because it cannot be found anywhere else.
So many different types of items can be found at the Access event (the Rue pose set from WRONG is making another appearance here) and I’m featuring one of the latest hairs from Modulus in the “Lucian Hair”. It’s a bowl type style that is still popular today as it was in the 90’s where I saw quite a few guys rocking it. I myself even might have had it styled this way once but I went through a lot of stages back then and nowadays I’m a low to no maintenance type of hair guy.
It’s not often that with a hair I go with a straight white without coloring it but I wanted to try something more out of my normal (which I’ve only done plain white less times then the fingers on one hand). With the clothing style of Bakaboo it made sense to go with a non-traditional hair color.
This is definitely a hair release I expect to see guys out there wearing proudly.
I‘ve done plenty of on location photos lately but there are several great backdrops that I want to catch up on from Paparazzi including the one you see in today’s blog. “The Aquarium Room” is kind of like one of those you see in a fancy house with a furnished basement with a huge fish tank and the cool part is that not only do you get the backdrop itself but also the 3 different types of fish and 2 different types of starfish.
This fish tank may seem a little sad as there are only three fish in it but I knew if I started putting out a whole bunch of fish it would get out of hand and I wanted to make sure that at least one of each kind was visible. One of them I’d like to say is patterned after a forgetful cartoon fish (yeah you know the one…I think).
Also I found out that there was a new update to the LeLutka “Andrea” head so I took a trip to the store to grab the latest version and there is a new look HUD with some fancy new features and animations. One of the features I though was interesting was the ability to reroute things like beards and hairbases. It’s all there in the manual and I’m sure I’ll get through it all eventually but also wanted to anyone out there who had not heard about it that owns this head.
Any kind of update for something such as a head or a body or even a skin is always worth getting so that you have the latest and best version available…because after all you paid for it!
Hate to say it but I think time is up for this entry but don’t worry I’ll be back again before too long with something fun and new with my take on it. For anyone that’s dealing with winter’s fun cruel joke I’m right there with you. Be safe and stay warm until I’m back with a new conversations but until then I’m going to run off to twist the night away!

While I am currently behind on the current season of The Walking Dead I kind of wanted do a post apocalyptic type photo. I scoured the different resources I had for sims and came across one I had yet to visit and after wandering around for a few moments I knew what I was going to do. This came a bit easier then I intended because I’ve been standing around trying to piece things together.
I decided to try out one of the new windlights by Battlescars which are free for just visiting the 6° Republic event and with a little tweaking and fine tuning I was able to get the right atmosphere I was looking for. I’m a big fan of Jay’s work and have used his other windlights over time and look even more forward to the stars release that will be coming out soon. The gift ones are well worth even just stopping at the event as there isn’t any pressure to buy anything though I found an item or two during my visit.
TMD has been a particularly good round this month and I’m glad to see that Hermony and TonkTastic have collaborated on some new graphic tees which I have the collection from last year that are awesome. This set is equally as great which makes it tough to choose one to feature (as there are 48 different designs in all) but I found one that best fit the setting.
When these two work together only good can come of it and being that I love graphic shirts like this in the real world, it makes me glad that I can have something just as cool in the virtual one that maybe has never been thought of before by any other clothing maker. Mad props to Hermanni and Tonk for creating such a wide variety for the consumer.
The rest of my look consists of things I’ve filled in with items I’ve already blogged or that have been sitting waiting for me to use at the right time. Having a blog post where everything is new can be nice but it just winds up being a lot to cover and that means more writing (and I don’t mind it but I don’t want to suffocate a first time reader or one that is returning).
At the beginning of the blog I mentioned “The Walking Dead” and after I took the photo I couldn’t help but notice that my virtual self looks a bit like Rick Grimes. Others may or may not see it but it seems like later on in the series where he’s been out there in the world of the non living and has grown a beard and his hair had gotten longer. It wasn’t something that I did on purpose but I find it humorous that I noticed it well after I finished and it’s not a proper tribute but it works just the same.
Another post is now finished so I can begin getting ready for what’s next and this month there is just about as much to do as there was last month without all the craziness of it. Deadlines are still deadlines and I intend to crush them as I usually do, so all that is left is provide the credits and I’ll be back again with another conversation.
