Two collaborations back to back? *gasps* It’s not really all that shocking lately considering that some of my most inspired work has come from working with others and on top of that it is a great time. For this blog I wanted to take this pose by MOTIV8 and show just how versatile it can be. Originally designed for a male couple, Brenna and I tested a theory on if we could create a photo using the “Frisk” couples pose and make it our own.

With poses I feel that if it isn’t 100% clear cut and even if it is, there’s ways to make it work outside of the box thus testing my theory that this pose can be utilized by any couples dynamic and look great. So if you’ve been to The Men’s Jail and thought maybe this pose wasn’t for you…now you have a reason to give it a second look and use it for your photography or blogging.

UrbanStreet provided the tattoos I am wearing with their latest for TMJ called “FlorNa”. I’m a fan of roses and floral patterns and the design of this ink is very well done; this time I even wore the fresh (aka dark) version to really show how it stands out and is super colorful. I would like to believe that there are guys out there who are just as into ink as I am so this has the potential to be very popular on the grid even after the event ends.

My style for this blog even includes jewelry by HK Designs, their “Pathways Necklace” adorns my neck and while it comes with a HUD that includes a lot of colors I couldn’t deviate from my love of silver. The colored versions give off a really nice glow feel which is perfect for the club/rave crowd that enjoy accessories and also bringing a little extra attention their way.

The “Cyber Pant” by Rekt rounds out the items I’m featuring from The Men Jail in this post and the lighting in my photo perhaps does not show them off in the best way possible but I can tell you they are very unique as well as give you two different options for wear (a strapless version which is what I am wearing and a pair with straps).

Modulus is participating in the Belle Event and for this they’ve released the messy “Rory” hairstyle. The first thing I had in mind was to give it some color so that it would pop with the colors of the tattoo as well as fit in with the song I chose for the blog soundtrack. Keeping that in mind, I used the Monotone HUD and the integrated color picker to find a happy medium.

The result of a bleached and chlorinated hair color helps set the tone for a tune that’s been stuck in my head ever since I heard it for the first time. The messy look definitely coincides with the situation in the scene along with the dice and handcuffs that have yet to come into play in the moment. This is definitely a recommended style and could even help you create a bad boy look as I have done.

Time for me to hit some honorable mentions that make an appearance in this post starting with the “Urban View” backdrop by Paparazzi. It is a really awesome build that has a night time building scheme to it that really gives an excellent ambience for what I wanted to do with the scene; I can’t heap enough praise on the work that Drew Sunflower does with backdrops and skyboxes which makes me look forward to each and every release.

For the ladies, Brenna is wearing the latest double release from Narcisse that is currently part of the Fetish Fair. The “Beaumont Halter Top” and “Fergie Waspie Skirt” are just the thing to make the lady in your life get the blood pumping in your heart and the adrenaline to rush through your veins. I’m only modestly showing this off in my photo but seeing it for yourself is a must.

The Fetish Fair runs through the 2nd of March.

On that note I have covered just about everything that I can think of that is important to the creation of this scene and I can leave you with the styles for both Brenna and I just in case something inspired you and you want to add something to your closet or photography experience. I also have to say that I’m really enjoying using Black Dragon to take my photographs; my confidence has risen several notches once I began utilizing it and I am getting more comfortable with the settings as well.

Recently in a conversation the topic of doing things differently than I’m used to and maybe I find myself playing it safe more often than not because it is the easier way to do things. One thing I took to heart during this conversation is I may be missing out on potential opportunities because of not pushing the envelope even further…in the vein of that conversation I am taking a step out of my comfort zone and turning up the sexy and just because I’m not going the “Full Monty” doesn’t mean I’m not stepping it up.

Leave it to the imagination and always leave people wanting more…so perhaps that is what I’m doing.

This is my first ever time blogging an item by Cubura and it isn’t because I dislike their products it is just mostly they are a bit more edgier than I’ve been used to in my 4+ years of blogging. Throwing caution to the wind I said the heck with it and am giving the “Drew Shorts” a try. They are pretty form fitting with some emphasis around the nether regions but not as aggressively as some products I’ve seen around the grid. Another bright side is that there is so many options to color various parts of the shorts that you could wear a different version just about every day for a very long time.

UrbanStreet is a brand that I have blogged before in the past and this time I have their newest tattoo release “Sentence” on my skin. This tattoo contains elements of geometric shapes along with skulls in what I would best describe as a type of Samoan or Polynesian type pattern and comes with Light, Dark and Middle opacity types which gives the buyer the best option that suits them. For tattoo enthusiasts who are looking for something that looks to fit the dangerous type this is worth taking a look at when it becomes available to the public.

I have a feeling that I will be doing quite a few blogs in the next few weeks with tattoos as there are lot of them that I’ve had on my list to blog and this was the kickoff to start utilizing them more often.

I‘m saving my favorite part of what I’m blogging in this photo for last; simply because for me it is what inspired me to pull together the rest of what made this image work in my head. Bent Poses put together a three pose set designed to display what the morning grind might be like and while most of the time I’m NOT a morning person, the times I am there’s nothing wrong with a warm cup of coffee and a quick glance over the paper….well more like the Entertainment and Sports pages as I’m mostly checked out to world events at the moment.

The #Sundays set includes a mesh coffee cup and newspaper which upon wear activates the pose its intended for, and the third pose combines both the cup and paper which can be seen in my photo because I thought the pose looked really cool and it’s not often I do things like that (especially in very little clothing) but you have to live a little every now and then.

By now it’s probably easy to see that the theme of this blog was items that will be appearing in the January round of The Men’s Jail that starts on Tuesday, the 08th. When the doors officially open I definitely encourage all the fellas who may view this blog to give it a look because as I’ve shown there are various types of items sold at the event like clothing, tattoos, and poses as an example.

The soundtrack to this blog was a bit of overflow from taking a stroll back in music time as I ventured into the 80’s last blog with WHAM! and stuck around for a moment to pull out this gem by Duran Duran who have a special place for me. My main motivation for selecting it was for it’s references to the morning after which could be where I’m at with the coffee and paper.

Hopefully I can keep up this streak of posts because it’s been really good for me to be on a roll like this and also while I’m still on a run I will get as much as I can out without completely wearing myself out. By Tuesday I figure it will be likely worth a day off and I can recharge and perhaps just take photos to keep things going but reserve posting for a day or so but depends on how things go.

For now I’m going to drop those credits and see what more I can do to get back here again.
