Being that I am a self-proclaimed Pop Culture nerd, which can be checked and verified by many of those who know me and even mere acquaintances or viewers to this here blog space, if there is ever an opportunity to pay homage to a favorite character. Whether it be from a television series, movie, or book. I always try to give it the best treatment that I can.

For this particular shoot, I choose to focus on characters from the Supernatural television series. It’s been on the air for 12 seasons and for me it has never become stale or boring following the story of two brothers that hunt monsters of all kinds and the people around them.

I am also proud to announce that I’ve become a member of the RIOT Clothing blogger team, which has recently released the Nathaniel Flannels at the current round of Mesh Body Addicts which is going on until the 30th of November. I suggest you check it out, because there are many colors to choose from and you get both solid and plaid colors in each pack as well as a special color for purchasing the Fatpack, which I recommend for the most bang for your linden dollar.

Violetility has released a weapons pack inspired by characters from the show as well which have been put to use here. They were a part of the most recent Geeks and Nerds event but are now available at the mainstore. If you are into cosplay/role-playing this is definitely a must to help you with your visual adventures.

Last but not least I would like to say a huge thank you and show of appreciation and gratitude to Hellbone Barbosa of Hogs and Cartwheels Vehicles for donating one of my favorite pieces of this shoot: The Metallicar. Also known affectionately as “Baby” this mesh vehicle is quite awesome and has a lot of features seen on the series itself. I could go on about it all day but I encourage you to go check it out for yourself and for all the other great vehicles you can add to your collection.

It’s been a great round of Sad November which is coming to a close but you still have time to catch some really great deals. I have the Damselfly hair “Wagner” which comes with a nice winter beanie to keep you warm out there. It comes in the usual shade packs and also a mixed pack as well as the FatPack with all the colors. Also in the new and noteworthy, Mens Only Monthly started up once again with all sorts of things for you guys to enjoy, and one of the highlights of the event personally are the RN Jeans and Dumb Boots from Excellence. I really like the way they go together to give a little bit of a rugged look.

I’ve paired the jeans and boots up with the Snicks Hoodie by Modulus, which you can get at the new round of Shiny Shabby. The hoodie comes in 6 colors with a sleeved version and a short sleeved version. The longer sleeves have a color change HUD so that you can switch it up from time to time as the mood fits.

Today I bring you some new findings and usually if I do a write-up of something it’s worth it as I like to let my photos tell the story. I have been given the privilege of showcasing a designer that is new to me and is slowly making their way in the Second Life skin world. Violetility is a newer brand that specializes in fantasy skins for role-players or people who just like to be diverse with their look. Not only that but they intend to release normal human looks as well which I have also put up to see. I look forward to seeing what this store can be as the future continues. Along with that I also bring you one of the newest releases from Modulus, the “Locs” Mohawk which is a combination of a mohawk mixed in with dreadlocks for a completely unique hair style. There’s nothing I enjoy more than a collaboration with one of my favorite people in the world, Ashlene of “Like A Phoenix“. She came to me with an idea that was The Walking Dead themed which always piques my interests. Upon learning that she was going to style herself after the character Michonne, I had the task of deciding which persona I would take on. Would I go back to Rick Grimes, which I had been previously in post #100 or try something different. In that particular post a friend had taken on the task of being Daryl Dixon, so since I was looking to do something different I decided to try that for myself. FATEplay along with the other FATE brands are having a sale that began on the 6th of November and runs until the 16th to celebrate owner Damien Fate’s Rez-day. (Happy Rezday!!!) I decided since I like the Daryl inspired outfit my friend wore, I’d try it as well but only wear a different version so I wouldn’t be wearing the same thing.
