With the current round of Man Cave ending in just a few days (Oct 3rd), I wanted to make sure I got in some of the last minute goodies that I am finally putting to use for the look in this entry. Some brands that I haven’t featured in a while helped fuel this punk inspired adventure.

Alongside items from the Man Cave event, this entry has a heavy presence from my sponsor Avi-Glam. With another iris color from the “Charm Eyes” set as well as the new “Dorian” skin from Men Only Monthly it goes to show you how hard of a worker the creator, Kendra Parfort is.

Being a fashion blogger/reporter or visual artist (whatever you want to categorize it as) makes each scene primarily about fashion but having a great background and pose is just as equally important. After I found the look I wanted, I dug into my bag of tricks to find a pose prop (with included poses) and a backdrop that put the finishing touches on what you see here. I’m rather happy with the results of this scene.

Deadwool is absolutely one of my top 5 favorite designers on the grid. It’s great to see that they’ve released a new hairstyle as it has been quite some time since the last time they did so. With 8 different Color HUDs to choose from (within those HUDs are Catwa hairbase appliers) there is likely an option for you. There is also an option of rigged and unrigged (resizable) in the package as well.

With the latest release skin from Avi-Glam, “Dorian” is a very youthful looking gentleman and gives the “guy next door” vibe to me. The skin has eight skin tones to choose from. It is a Catwa applier only and does not include a shape so you’ll have to use one you already have (which most of you often do).

I haven’t purchased a Kalback item in a while but when I saw the different designs for this shirt (music ones always catch my attention), it was a must have even if I wouldn’t have used it for a look. The quality is very good as I have known this to be from the former brand known as Kal Rau. There are many different designs to choose from and there are even two separate packs to choose from that have exclusive shirts just for those packs. It also has the option to have short sleeves or long sleeves for a layered look.

Ripped jeans, what’s more punk than that? Other than the music that is. These great rolled cuff denim jeans are perfect for the bad boy look you might be going for. The jeans come in a bootcut version as well and are compatible with the Aesthetic, Belleza, Signature, SLink and TMP male bodies.

Just having missed the cut as TMD is now closed until the new round begins on the fith, I purchased these the moment I had seen them but did not know exactly what to use them with until I started putting this look together and had the ripped jeans with a bootcut option. I had completed my look and it was perfect for the plan that was going on in my head. These boots are compatible with Belleza, Signature, SLink, and TMP; there are also sizes for the classic avatar and also for female bodies.

This backdrop originally made it’s debut at the REWIND event back in August. I knew I wanted to use it for some type of music inspired post but it just had not come to me while the event was running. After I had my look put together I knew I had this laying in wait to be used so I put it out and set up the pose and the rest is history.

Whenever I have the option for a pose that has a guitar in it then I’m all for it. This set comes with 12 different poses and the guitar case and guitar (which appears during certain poses only). Any music fan that loves taking photos would be remiss not to head to Men Only Monthly to pick this up.

Wetcat has certainly outdone themselves again.

On the 31st of March, These Conversations Kill had it’s 3rd Birthday/Anniversary. While I intended to have this finished by then it just wasn’t possible due to outside obligations. Since I started this little project I’ve come up with 357 different concepts and looks for the readers to do with what they choose. Take what they like or don’t like and create a style or outfit and make it their own.

Time seems to go by in a flash (pun intended) and I cannot express the amount of joy and fun that this has brought me over these past three years. What started out as an idea to make sure that a reader would be able to find the items they wanted if they were available and the exact location to get them was the intention behind what you see here today. I never want someone to feel like I did when I had seen an item on a male fashion blog but there was nothing stating where I could go to get it. Even after contacting the person who authored the blog and getting very little information, it was that exact moment I wanted to strive to produce something better and something more informative.

Thank you to everyone who has followed, liked, faved, and everything else in between. The support that I’ve been given by numerous fellow bloggers who have become great friends and to those that are not colleagues that just enjoy what I do. It all means more than I could ever truly put into words.

Stray Dog has slowly become a very strong presence as a skin maker, becoming one of my favorites along with designers like Modulus, Clef de Peau, and even Tableau Vivant. At this current round of ULTRA you can get the Seb skin in three different tones. I chose the Pearl tone as it was my favorite of the three. In the applier HUD it comes with the regular facial skin and also freckles.

Mesange is participating in the Mens Only Hunt 9 that just started on the 1st of April and runs until 30th. There are 5 different colors to choose from as it is a Mini-Pack that is put altogether. I chose the color that looked similar to a certain Scarlet Speedster’s look like before he’s about to take off.

Also the subway background is one I had been eyeing since it became available at Kustom9 so I finally made use of it and really like how detailed it is. It made the idea I was going for a bit easier to work with. I’m not familiar with the brand ninety but if they continue to make products such as this, I will definitely be featuring them more. They are on my radar.

[high v.] is one of those stores that a pop culture nerd enjoys and that is where I found the comic inspired hooded sweatshirts. There are 9 different designs you can choose from and you can tell by the theme of this entry what mine was. Originally this product made it’s debut at an event called Level Up but I don’t recall there being much press or hoopla about it. I found out about them from the ad posted on Flickr by the store itself so I was able to get them there.

The NEOPRIME TRAINERS were previously available at the February/March round of Uber but they should be appearing soon at the Main location any time now. I picked up the full pack because of all the customization options that are available. Millions of combinations can be made from the bevy of colors you are able to pick from. As you can see I went with Red/Yellow this time but I have a feeling this will definitely be featured again in another capacity as they work well with jeans.

Lastly, I’d like to give mention to the XXY “Manly” pose pack that you can grab right now at the current round of Men Only Monthly. I really like their poses though the only small complain I have and it isn’t a huge one is that they only package pose balls. If you want to try and use them on a sim where you are not aloud to place items, you have to manually take them out before you go. As I said it’s not a big deal overall but if Xerys manages to read this little space, I’m sure not only myself but the readers would love for you to include the static poses in the package as well.
