[#538] I Hope Tomorrow Comes Today

So shine for me as one
Cast a shadow on the sun
The light to find my way
I hope tomorrow comes today

12 Stones, ♫Tomorrow Comes Today

When you have a lot of irons in the fire you tend to forget something and I feel so bad that I missed blogging some great items from the recent NEO Japan event that ended on the 21st. I captured a really fantastic picture (well two of them a front and back facing shot) that I feel very proud about. The items from the event will turn over into the main store locations for the brands that I’m featuring so do not feel as sad as I do right now because you will still be able to get them if you want them (and I hope you do!)

One of the many things that I am a huge fan of is katanas and the different warriors of the past who wielded them (Samurai and Ninja respectively) and the recent pose set release by Kokoro Poses has me amped hardcore. 4 poses with accompanying katana swords had me salivating creatively because of the outfit I had to accompany it with.

I’ve probably mentioned this before but with Kokoro Poses it pays to buy the full pack because they add little extras and who doesn’t love bonus poses? In this pack there are two…yes TWO extra poses and each pose has a mirrored pose and a katana specifically for each pose as well. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves bladed weapons as I do and I certainly would love to see what others do with this as well.

Kokoro Poses Tokugawa Fatpack features:

  • Bento enabled poses (Bento viewer required to use properly)
  • 4 poses each with mirror and mesh katana specifically for the poses
  • 2 bonus poses also with included mesh katana and mirrored versions
  • Avaiable @ the Kokoro Poses in-world location

Another recent release, this one from Bakaboo is the Yang Kimono and Leggings which I think are truly great. As I put the look together and started setting up the pose and angle I really felt like a warrior even if it was in the virtual sense. Americans were not as welcome back in those days and were very scarce if any but I think it would have been amazing to live in that time period of the samurai.

Whenever I see shows or movies with sword fights it captivates me and personally I would love to learn the art of sword fighting and different disciplines such as the Bushido code which has also fascinated me over the years as well.

Getting back to Bakaboo, I can firmly say I am amazed by the creator, Ocean Blackthorne. Unique patterns and colors are something he utilizes in his clothing to make it one of a kind and something I firmly believe is cutting edge. The one thing I like about the kimono is that one half of it is sleeveless to allow for better movement that I feel would be essential for a samurai.

There are several great color options that are a part of this set and also for all the FATPACK lovers there are two exclusive patterns as bonus for purchasing the whole kit and caboodle. I really had several ideas for what pattern I wanted to wear but I truly liked the design of the red, blue and white pattern as it spoke more to me then some of the normal designs with just color without patterns involved.

Bakaboo Yang Kimono and Leggings features:

  • 100% original mesh
  • 10 designs with 2 bonus designs (for FATPACK owners)
  • Fitted sizes for Belleza (Jake), Signature (Gianni) and SLink Physique male bodies
  • Available now @ Bakaboo’s in-world location

All of the items in this blog’s look were a part of NEO Japan, which every time this event comes up there is always something great and I wasn’t able to get to cover it more as I would have liked to but I did managed to grab some things before the event ended that will make an appearance in future styling and photo sessions.

I wanted a hairstyle that was reflective of a samurai which I also found at NEO Japan in the way of the “087” hair from Dura. Much like returning to Argrace in the last blog entry, Dura is another brand that I haven’t featured in a long, long time. It’s not that I don’t like their creations it is more of a detachment from a style viewpoint. There just wasn’t much in the way that I felt reflected my style and so it wasn’t until now that I got a chance to get reacquainted with them. I like the couple flowing bangs in front and the pulled together bun in the back that finalized this look for me.

Now that I have one of their latest products I do not know for sure if I will blog Dura again but I would certainly like to if there is a style that really captures me like this one has.

Dura 087 FATPACK B features:

  • 100% original mesh
  • Hairbases HUD (for Catwa, Genesis, Omega & TMP) included
  • Color Picker HUD included
  • Left and right versions
  • Male and Female versions
  • Available @ Dura’s in-world store

The time has come for me to once again wrap up this post and before I do I would like to give praise to the “Little Yoshiwara” sim which I had never visited until today. The layout is based on the Bakamatsu period and is a point of cultural Japan which if you have time to explore (more than just take photos) it’s really a neat place to visit and I will definitely return there in the future.

Join me again soon as I leave you with the style credits and other pertinent information as well as the taxi to Little Yoshiwara. Enjoy exploring and until our paths cross again, it’s onto the next conversation…

[#530] I Want It Now!

’cause I want it now
I want it now
Give me your heart and your soul
And I’m breaking out
I’m breaking out
Last chance to lose control

Muse, ♫Hysteria♫

After going on a mass blogging binge this week I decided to recharge a little bit and take a day off yesterday and had considered doing so the whole weekend but I felt a bit jazzed and pumped (pun slightly intended) and chose to shoot this scene while it was still in my head. Maybe the idea as a whole doesn’t really gel completely because I don’t know anyone insane enough to bench press near steps but I’ve done some unconventional things in my days so I’m going to get away with it.

I was thinking of a tune that would work with this and remembered one of my old favorites that I’d play constantly when I was virtually jamming out on Rock Band. “Hysteria” by Muse has always been one of those songs that would get me hyped up because it has such a killer bass line and I always enjoyed that aspect of the song when I would play it on the game.

Working out even in the virtual world requires some high energy rock and I found it in this song and aided me along with the “Kaleb” pose set by Kokoro Poses. This set of poses is probably at the top 5 of any of the workout poses that I’ve ever had at my disposal and I didn’t have to make any adjustments to my shape to make it work and not having to add more effort into styling and setting up is a plus in my book.

One of the best things I like about Kokoro Poses is that they add an incentive with their full sets of poses by adding poses that you wouldn’t get if you purchased them as singles and really why would you want to buy just one pose especially if you change your mind mid photo and wish you had gotten one of the other poses? That way if you have the full pose pack you can just throw them in a stand and switch to what you want to work with.

Kokoro Poses Kaleb Pose Pack features:

  • Bento enabled poses (Bento viewer required for proper use)
  • Mesh weights included that fit each pose specificially
  • 5 poses + 2 full pack exclusives (7 in all)
  • Exclusively @ Hipster Men’s Event until October 16th

Track or sweat pants are in my opinion one of the best and most comfortable ways to exercise because you don’t have to worry about the pinch or bind that you might get with jeans (which to me is a no-no anyway). ExalteD has a new pair of pants at the upcoming round of The Men Jail that I was excited to throw on and use for this blog. I originally planned to wear a shirt as well with this but I thought best to show off those ab muscles and save a shirt from getting drenched with sweat and getting all smelly.

I love the color options for the “Nick” Pants because they are all colors that I would wear and instead of copping out and wearing black or white, I went with the light (or baby) blue color represent one of the alternate old school colors of my favorite baseball team who are a game away from moving on in the National League playoffs are are perceived as underdogs that won’t get far (but I believe!) There is a nice black with white piping on the side of the pants to give it added style.

ExalteD Nick Pants FATPACK features:

  • 100% mesh
  • 12 different colors to choose from (changeable via HUD)
  • Fitted for Belleza (Jake) and Signature (Gianni) male mesh bodies
  • Exclusively @ The Men Jail starting October 8th and available until October 28th

For footwear I thought the best type of shoe to pair with the pants was a lo-top sneaker and one of my favorite brands, Native Urban’s latest release fit what I was looking for. The “Pryda” sneakers are constructed similar to the “Woodboat” pair that I blogged not too long ago but they are not exact. I think even the colors available in the full pack are different from one another.

These sneakers are casual for just about any kind of situation you might find yourself in where you are not required to dress in a fancy suit. Perfect for hanging out at the beach, going to a club, or just kicking it at your place.

However, for those of you with the Belleza (Jake) body you won’t be able to use these because they were made specifically for Signature products.

Native Urban Pryda Sneakers All Colors features:

  • 100% Mesh
  • 12 customizable parts with 21 colors (changeable via HUD)
  • Fitted for Signature (Geralt and Giann) mesh bodies
  • Exclusively @ Signature Event from October 1st – 20th

Lately I’ve been rolling through my list of hairs to blog from Modulus and this time out I am wearing the “Alfie” hair. This side combed hair is about chin length and can be paired with just about any type of hairbase (I chose a side faded one for this look). The best part is that you can choose between which side you have it combed to because Modulus now gives you both left and right sided versions. This has been a recent feature which I am absolutely grateful for and I’m glad that owner, Chucky Hollak, has given the option to us.

I’m sure I am not the only one who is ecstatic for this feature and I have a feeling that this is not even a fraction of what is to come so like all of you I wait for what is next in the already feature heavy Modulus Alpha Nex-Gen products line.

Modulus Alfie Hair features:

  • 100% Original Alpha Nex-Gen Mesh
  • Left or Right side parts included
  • 5 color HUDs with 8 standard colors
  • HUD contains integrated color picker for added customization
  • 40 color FATPACK also available
  • Exclusively @ Uber until October 22nd

Of course I cannot forget to mention the backdrop that helped put this scene together; which is one of the recent releases from Paparazzi. It is not brand new as it was a part of one of the rounds of Cosmopolitan but their bi-weekly rounds makes it difficult sometimes to get something from there and feature it while it is brand new.

The “Graff Tagged Door” backdrop gives the feel of it being a part of an abandoned building that squatters or curious people have snuck into (also read broken into) and used their spray cans to write different things on the doors and walls or whatever else they feel like. In my mind I picture myself being someone who has found a way to make it an abandoned gym and go there to lift weights or do some kind of parkour. The ideas of where that could go are almost limitless and because it is a virtual concept I won’t have to worry about the authorities!

Paparazzi Graff Tagged Door Backdrop features:

  • 100% original mesh
  • 4 different color schemes available (sold seperately)
  • Resizeable via click
  • Currently available @ Papparazzi main and marketplace stores!

This all seems like a mouthful so I’m going to finish this blog post up so you can get to the good part if you haven’t already and I will definitely be back with more goods from some of the latest events that have just started and also more from Pose Fair and The Men Jail. I look forward to getting back to work and until our paths cross again, onto the next conversation…

[#523] I’m Too Sexy…

And I’m too sexy for Milan
Too sexy for Milan,
New York and Japan

Right Said Fred, ♫I’m Too Sexy

Sometimes digging into the quirky bag can be fun when you pull things together to poke fun at yourself or show that you might have a bit of a sense of humor. Now I’m not sure how this is going to translate or if anyone is going to find it cute, funny or even maybe a bit goofy but that was the aim I was going for when I decided to find some unique items for this blog entry.

I never really took Right Said Fred as a serious musical act and honestly I don’t remember anything else that they did other than “I’m Too Sexy” and that may be why they always seem to find themselves on those notorious “one hit wonder” lists that pop up from time to time. The song itself I think was not meant to be serious either and it fit perfectly with me trying my hand at pretending to be a model (and maybe I fail miserably but I got a kick out of the whole process).

There are several items from the Equal10 event in this post which is a testament to just how good I feel the event is when more than one thing I feature comes from it. The same is said for The Men Jail and I am not saying this because they are an event that I blog for as there are quite a few things each round that I put into my photos because they are something I want to share with my audience.

Starting out with the “Fashion Storefront” backdrop from Paparazzi, this was a catalyst for the entire idea coming together. It also represents something I enjoy doing which is shopping and made lots of sense for me to pose myself in front of it with great lighting and snazzy clothing. I don’t want to go overboard with my praise for the brand so I’ll keep it to a minimum but I have been using a lot of backdrops in my photos because they have given me creative thoughts for how to implement them and Paparazzi creates a lot of things that make it easy to do so.

Affordable, well constructed and appearing at many of mine (and likely many others) favorite events, Paparazzi is a sure bet for backdrop and photography needs.

Paparazzi Fashion Storefronts Backdrop features:

  • 100% original mesh
  • Blue, Green and Pink versions available
  • Sold individually or as a FATPACK
  • Mesh mannequins included in each version
  • Exclusively @ Equal10 until October 5th

Staying with Equal 10, I am wearing the “Loose Flow Pants” by Gild. I really like the little ink splatter design on these pants and it is designs like this that often catch my eye and will be something I feature from time to time. The loose belt is also an added touch to the overall design of the pants which give it more of a model/runway look that I felt would work best with my look including the top that I’ll get to in a moment.

I chose the pink version of these pants because not only did it go with the backdrop but also because soon it will be October and also Breast Cancer Awareness month. I’ve known plenty of people in both my real and virtual lives that have suffered, survived as well as won and lost their battle and showing some support even before the month begins was a good idea to me.

Gild Loose Flow Pants (Pink) features:

  • 100% original mesh
  • Fitted sizes for Belleza (Jake) and Signature (Geralt & Gianni)
  • Exclusively @ Equal 10 until October 5th

Matching the pants was easy because I’m also wearing another new release by Gild which is the “Triangle Jungle Pullover” that is a part of the latest round of The Men Jail. I cannot say whether it is intended or not but this top does go very well with the pants and it could be considered a full outfit that is sold separate at two events (it has been done before). They have similar strap features in the design so I am definitely willing to say that they are meant to be part of a complete outfit.

Usually my midsection is covered unless I’m doing a beach shot and do not have a shirt on but I really liked how this top looked and thought in the vein of wearing something that I might not on a consistent basis, trying new things can certainly pay off for different looks and vibes. I certainly have enjoyed throwing this outfit together because it’s not something I am accustomed to.

Gild Triangle Jungle Pullover FATPACK features:

  • 100% original mesh
  • Black, Blue, Purple and Red color designs
  • Fitted for Belleza (Jake) and Signature (Geralt & Gianni) mesh bodies
  • Exclusively @ The Men Jail until September 28th

My hair is also from The Men Jail event and it is also one of those styles that I might not normally consider wearing but because it’s super wild looking and fits my runway model look I stayed true to the overall theme as well and chose the pink color from the Fantasy HUD. It’s becoming more frequent that men no matter what their preferences are have started to use pink which many years prior was thought of as an only girls color. I am comfortable with using any color that helps me get my visual across and looks good to me.

This style of hair, the wisps of longer tresses flowing from the back on one side to the top and going forward surrounded by shorter cropped hair (which I chose not to have my base hair be pink as well because I thought it might be too distracting.) It has that 80’s feel to it much like the scene itself does which worked out for the complete visual plan.

Letituier Brian Hair FATPACK features:

  • 100% mesh
  • Individual packs or a FATPACK available for purchase
  • 6 color packs to choose from
  • Exclusively @ The Men Jail until September 28th

It’s about time for me to wrap this blog post up so I can work on getting back on a regular schedule as well as keep my creativeness from getting blocked again (which has really been one of the hardest things to deal with in recent weeks.) There’s definitely more that I have coming from The Men Jail as well as other fun things from my fave brands and events.

October is going to be a pretty busy month post wise (I have an inkling it will be at least) I want to be able to do a few posts before then so it should be fun now that things are starting to creatively get back to normal. [#521] If It’s The Same For You, I’ll Just Hang

And we always say, it would be good to go away, someday
But if there’s nothing there to make things change
If it’s the same for you I’ll just hang

Matchbox Twenty, ♫Hang

In my previous post I spoke about how I didn’t have a soundtrack to back the post until after I had finished taking the photos and getting everything ready. This post is quite different because I had the soundtrack and idea before I even started to put the scene together so it was an easier session from start to finish; it’s also great that I get to feature one of my newest brands to join up with These Conversations Kill.

Kokoro Poses is now a part of the brands that I have the privilege and honor to blog for. I have some experience with their work from events such as Pose Fair and also The Men Jail to name a few. They have been around a while which is great because they are established and are known to be good at what they do (which is making poses of course). The last few poses before I became a blogger for them also prompted me to apply and I hope that I can do them justice.

Backtracking a little bit here and going back to how soundtracks relate to how I put together my scenes for blogs is usually pretty simple, I take the mood of a song or simply something in their lyrics and apply it to the photo that I’m taking and fashion the atmosphere to fit as best as possible. Also finding settings that might match the overall tone helps too but doesn’t always happen as bloggers have to make do with what we have access to.

Asuma is the latest pose pack from Kokoro Poses that depects smoking actions and while I’m not telling everyone to pick up a cigarette or voluntarily smoke (as I do not in the real world) but I really like the mood that these poses produce. There is a verse in the song I’m using that talks about smoking a cigarette outside and staying until it is gone and not only is that being considerate I feel but also that it opens up more of a dialogue for contemplating something heavy. The cigarette is kind of a crutch to help alleviate a crisis.

Kokoro Poses Asuma Pose Pack features:

  • Bento enabled poses (proper viewer required to use)
  • 6 poses (including mirrors)
  • Poses 1 and 6 available only to the FATPACK
  • Mesh cigarette included for each pose and mirror
  • Exclusively @ Hipster Men’s Event until Sep. 16th!

A few days ago FaMESHed opened it’s doors back up for another round and for fans of Modulus there is extra reasons to be excited about this round with two different new hairstyles available to be purchased at the event. I am wearing “Julian” which is a short, wispy style (and sometimes my descriptions for hair styles aren’t the best so you’ll have to excuse me.) I chose this because I wanted to make sure that there wasn’t any strands of hair covering my face as you’ll see for my alternate photo close-up of the eyes I am wearing.

Modulus makes it easy to find a hairstyle that works with any kind of look you are going for or mood you are in with varieties of length to choose from; I highly doubt there is anyone who hasn’t bought a hair from this store but if not there are many events you can find them in and there is bound to be something for you so I recommend them highly.

Modulus Julian FATPACK features:

  • 100% original mesh alpha hair
  • 40 hair colors to choose from (5 color HUDs)
  • Left and Right hair choices
  • Integrated color picker within HUD for added customization

The Men Jail is also back for a fresh new round of goodies for the fellas to take a look at and over the last few rounds I have enjoyed being able to blog the facial hairs made by the store, Purfect. Most of them are mesh constructs but this round they have a beard applier which after I added to my face I really liked how it looked and gave me a more mature appearance (as opposed to without it).

Beards are definitely one of my favorite things to put into my looks because I always feel strange when I take photos without one that is unless I’m wearing some kind of face paint or makeup. Everyone has their own thoughts about their appearance and I’m one of those people who tends to not go without some kind of facial hair whether it be stubble or a full blown mountain man beard.

Purfect Beard 022 FATPACK features:

  • Catwa, LeLutka and Omega applier HUDs
  • 3 different styles to choose from
  • 6 different hair colors
  • Exclusively @ The Men Jail from Sep 08th to the 28th

Cold-Ash is one of my favorite clothing stores on the grid and has been since they first came on the scene several years ago; to me they are to casual as what Deadwool are for dress clothes. That is a high compliment I feel because both brands respectively kill it with their products and whenever something new from Cold-Ash comes out I really go crazy in my mind with excitement to try and find the right situation to be able to blog it.

The “ELLIOT” short sleeve shirt is an untucked button down shirt with the first few buttons opened for added effect and even more sex appeal. I feel like anyone who wears this will definitely get some added attention. It pairs perfectly with the “Okauchee” pants from Lenox. This outfit as I’ve put it together was meant to be super casual and not super dressy.

Segueing right into the “Okauchee” pants from Lenox which was a smooth transition I have to admit, these slacks (or pants however you wish to go with that) are slightly rolled up at the bottom so you could wear ankle (or desert) boots or do what I did and show off your socks and oxfords (which are also by Lenox fyi). This outfit is a nice break from t-shirts and jeans or shorts that I’ve been wearing a lot because I do tend to wear those things a lot.

Here’s some details about the Cold-Ash and Lenox items!

Cold-Ash ELLIOT short sleeved shirt features:

  • 100% original mesh
  • 6 colors sold individually
  • 12 colors changeable via HUD (6 colors FATPACK bonus)
  • Fitted sizes for Belleza (Jake), Signature (Geralt & Gianni), SLink Physique and TMP mesh bodies
  • Exclusively @ TMD until September 30th

Lenox Okauchee Pants FATPACK features:

  • 100% original mesh
  • 11 fabric colors changeable via HUD
  • Fitted sizes for Aesthetic, Belleza (Jake) and Signature (Geralt & Gianni) male bodies
  • Exclusively @ Uber until the 22nd of September!

For this post I decided to do a bit of a test with a secondary photo with a full outfit shot. With the help of green screening (which I do not use often) and a nice background pattern, I am also showing a close-up of one of the latest eye releases from Go&See. “Ares” is a really detailed set and there and all of the options that it comes with are all very cool.

When it comes to eyes there really isn’t much to say or describe other than that I recommend them very highly and many of the Go&See eye products are good for rpg’s and also for every day use.

Go&See Ares Eyes features:

  • Appliers for CATWA and Genus Project eyes
  • Mesh eyes included
  • 10 styles to choose from
  • Exclusively @ Men Only Monthly until Sep. 15th

That about does it for this blog entry but I finally was able to share my exciting news about landing a new brand partner and featuring them for the first time as a blogger. I also was able to include some of my other favorite brands that I blog for as well together to create a look that I am truly pleased with as that is how it should be.

More to come from my favorite events and brands so be sure to check back to see what I’m up to as you never know what you’ll find on these pages. Time to go enjoy the rest of this weekend and begin staging my next idea. Until our paths cross again, onto the next conversation…

[#516] Singin’ Drunken Lullabies

Ah, but maybe it`s the way you were taught
Or maybe it`s the way we fought
But a smile never grins without tears to begin
For each kiss is a cry we all lost

Flogging Molly, ♫Drunken Lullabies

The weekend is folding over into a new week and I’ve returned with a brand new blog. There were so many things I considered using for this particular scene but in the end I think the combination I put together truly worked the best; it is not very often that I back a blog with a soundtrack that consists of celtic punk rock. Though I felt with the pose set I am using lead me in that direction and it fits.

Often I speak about the various things you can find at The Men Jail event as the variety I feel is vast and caters to just about any male out there on the grid; I happen to find clothes most rounds that really fit what I like and also I find poses that really catch my attention as well. This month the “Johnson” pose set caught my eye and I’ve encountered other sets by this pose brand that have been pretty cool too.

If you are looking to set up a scene that involves just yourself and a cold “beverage” this is definitely the pose set for you; not only are the poses well done but the accompanying bottle of brew is very detailed as well. This set was just what I needed to pull off the effect of my avi tying one on as the saying goes and also makes me look forward to future poses and props from Kokoro Poses.

Kokoro Poses Johnson Poses & Prop features:

  • Bento enabled poses (proper viewer needed to use as intended)
  • 100% mesh bottle prop
  • 4 different poses each with bottle for that pose

The Men’s Department is still going strong with about a week left before they shut down to prepare for the September round and from the event I have the “Jon” hair from my friends at Modulus. I decided that if I was going to use an Irish punk song along with a drinking pose that I’d use the Reds color pack. Not to say that I’m trying to stereotype that Irish people are drunks but they do know how to tilt a few back.

Jon is a mid to long length hair that is combed to the left side and you can use normal length hairbases or a side shaved base with this and both look good. I myself decide to go with a normal length because I personally felt it looked the best with the overall look that I was going for. The level of detail of this hair is very good which is what you can expect from the next gen hair from Modulus.

A great brand and a great event continuing to do business together is only good for the consumers.

Modulus Jon Hair FATPACK features:

  • 100% original mesh hair
  • 40 colors to choose from (8 colors through 5 HUDs)
  • Tintable color picker included as part of color HUD
  • Exclusively @ TMD until 08/31!

While I am still on the topic of The Men’s Department, one of my other favorite brands Cold-Ash has a new release for us guys. The “Chelsea” boots come in a Suede texture which is a refreshing change from the usual leather that you see day in and day out. These go perfectly with many brands of jeans but they look great with the Holloway ripped jeans which are also from Cold-Ash. My whole wardrobe for this look is comprised of items from the Cold-Ash brand.

One of the things I like best about these boots is that it comes with two styles inside the package. You get the full boot that will fit in some of the jeans that will tuck into them without suffering clipping or there are the short version which works for longer more flared jeans and avoids the issue of clipping because that is something you do not want when you are out socializing; there’s always someone looking for this type of thing whether you know it or not.

For anyone looking for a good short desert type of boot then you’ll be very satisfied with these and I can assure you the quality of Cold-Ash is right at the top and they have been for a long time.

COLD-ASH CHELSEA Boots Suede Pack features:

  • 100% original mesh construction
  • Regular and short versions included
  • 14 different suede colors via HJD
  • Socks add-on for regular version

Many times I’ve often said that I am a big fan of the brand Paparazzi and a lot of times that may even be an understatement. Whether it be backdrops which is what the brand is known for or for items like the RetroNerd shades which I’ve used several times over some of the last couple posts, the attention to detail and time that is taken by owner Drew Sunflower is what makes me a fan.

I was honored to receive a review copy of the “Curved Room” backdrop that is exclusively a part of the Cosmopolitan bi-weekly event. The backdrop has a very cool curvature along with a set of lights (which do actually light up the backdrop). As you can tell with the photos that I took for the blog, I took photos from different angles and proximity. There are several spots in the backdrop where you can get fantastic angles so if you go and get this (and I encourage you to do so) see what kind of photo you can get.

Paparazzi Curved Room Backdrop features:

  • 100% original mesh
  • Full bright with built in lighting (modifiable)
  • Choice of blue or red color designs

Now that I’ve covered the most important parts of this post and have been attempting to post it to a few days (life happens of course). I will be getting back onto a regular schedule soon and have a few more posts for the month of August and cover a few of the most recently opened events as well as some that are opening shortly.

I’ve enjoyed myself and I hope anyone who has found this or any of the other blog posts on the site do as well, it’s always fun to showcase the creativity in my head. I’m going to leave you with the style credits and until the next time our paths cross, onto the next conversation…

[#494] Street Fighting Man

Hey! Said my name is called disturbance
I’ll shout and scream, I’ll kill the king, I’ll rail at all his servants
Well, what can a poor boy do
Except to sing for a rock ‘n’ roll band
Cause in sleepy London town
There’s no place for a street fighting man
No

Street Fighting Man, ♫The Rolling Stones

We’re almost at the end of the week but I’m actually able to post a true “Throwback Thursday” type blog. Using the rousing tunes of The Rolling Stones, I bring products from two new events to life. That’s how I’m going to start out this entry is by giving you some new news concerning the blog which I feel is really good for me personally as I continue to grow and see things prosper.

I’ve been accepted as an official blogger for The Men Jail event which begins its new round tomorrow, June 08th. The event has so many different products from clothing, to furniture, as well as tattoos. There’s so many different things for just about everyone so I’m proud to be affiliated with it and that they think I do a good enough job that they want me to represent them as well; I hope that it will be just like my other partnerships that are very nicely matched.

There are several items I have in this post from the event but the one I’m focusing really one the most in my main story shot is the pose which is from a set by Kokoro Poses called “Henrique”. It has 5 different static bento poses that will easily be able to fit your own blogging and photography needs whichever one you might possibly partake in (or could be none as well).

The item that makes me correlate with the soundtrack of this post is the “MICKEY” skinaddon from [FLAWS] that makes me more of a “Street Fighting Man” this applier which comes available for CATWA and OMEGA allows you to place a fresh or head gash on your nose. Of course what ruffian wouldn’t come to the party without a busted up face of some sort…that’s what being a tough guy is all about!

It’s been a while since I’ve worn any tattoos in photos but this time I felt that if I was going for a tough guy look that I needed some ink and it just so happens that Facade is releasing a new tattoo at TMJ called “Salvation” it has both fresh and faded version with a HUD that will apply to all major mesh bodies as well as OMEGA so that no matter what you are covered to wear this tattoo on your person. I think that it has an element of a prison tattoo but isn’t as rough as some of them tend to look which probably says that it is a post prison tattoo? I’m rambling a little bit too much on this so I am going to move on to the next bit.

Last for my goodies from The Men Jail is the “Erick” facial hair from Clever Language and I would have loved to see how it would have looked with the nose cut but my CATWA head just was not being friendly with me and kept pulling one or the other off when I tried to apply despite trying to use different layers for them both which gave me a solid reason to break out my LeLutka head because both applied without any problems whatsoever. If you aren’t planning on wearing these two products together or can figure out a fix by all means let me know because I’d appreciate it. This facial hair applier comes with both a CATWA and OMEGA friendly applier with a black hair version as well as tintable for those of you who have varying colors of hair.

The Men Jail runs until the 28th of June so find some time during your next shopping trip to take a look through what is all there is to offer fellas.

At the beginning of the post I mentioned that not only was I featuring The Men Jail products but also The Vintage Fair which also starts tomorrow (June 08th) and I was able to get a sneak preview of the event and while not every designer was set up at the time, I did manage to bring home a new hat/hair combo that I thought really started my thought process going of putting a look of a tough guy together.

Lock&Tuft will have for sale the “Cutler” hair which has a flatcap as part of the product. It’s been a while since I’ve seen a cap like this and it’s cool that it’s been paired with longer hair in the back. It reminds me a little bit of former lead vocalist from the rock group AC/DC who was known for having at hat like that as well as hair in that kind of style. I purchased the FATPACK which gives all of the colors as well as a HUD that allows you to change the color of the cap.

Now that I’ve covered the majority of what I feel were my key thought points it is time for me to put this blog post to bed allow you to get prepared to start the weekend and planned shopping trips. Check back in soon for more bloggage and cool new and recent releases from brands that I believe in highly. Also one quick thing is this is the second straight post that I’ve visited the sim, Rieri Town in Tokyo which is a really excellent place to explore and for fellow photographers/bloggers you’ll enjoy exploring and finding your own spot to snap a photo.

Until our paths cross again, onto the next conversation…
