When I first posted the blog I based off of Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” I thought that might be the height of my pushing the limits but it turns out I was wrong. Sure it took me long enough to gain the courage but I am doing what a good blogger should and feature a product that was given out to review and this is what I’m doing.

So to kind of break the ice and further my courage I had to come up with a soundtrack for this blog post and I did with humorous effort. If you look into it enough you’ll figure it out but I’m not going to point it out to you because that would ruin all the mystery. The song I chose is from when most people I know weren’t even a twinkle in their parents eye or were much too young (though I was rather young myself at the time). A good portion of the music from the 80’s was a bit on the comical side when you dig down deep (aside from the heavier metal genre).

I hope that you get a bit of a laugh out of this as I did during shooting and editing.


Not long ago, LV Designs released the “Dickprint Sweatpants” which the name is a very good description of the product. This Signature Gianni specific pair of sweatpants comes in two different versions MD and SD which I would conclude has to do with the size of the bulge in the front of them. I will say they are not for the meek that is for certain and definitely give you what I might call “Adult Film Star” definition in the nether regions.

To match them I picked up the “Tuxedo” shirt by ILLI that just became available at the freshly opened round of Tres Chic. It’s been quite a while since I found myself wandering around there but this definitely called to me when planning out my outfit for this blog post. Along with the items I’ve used to complete the scene (big thanks to Ethan for borrowing me a few of this to use!) I feel that it gives off the idea of a bachelor type scene and I pretty much recall these kind of shirts being pretty popular in the 80’s as well.


Modulus has a new skin that will be released soon on the 23rd of February at the Hipster Men’s Event but I’m lucky enough to be able to give you a preview of this handsome devil. “Oliver” is his name and he comes with a new feature that has not previously been seen in M-Bare releases, a skull with roses neck tattoo. I really think this is a cool addition as I’ve even given you guys an up close better look at it without any hair or hairbase because it’s just that cool. While the event is not open yet, I will come back and add the landmark to it once it is officially open.

The skin also gives you the option to keep the eyebrows and tatto separate and just wear the face skin without them and the option to have them on all at once. That way it’s easier to mix and match whatever preference you might have when putting your look together which is the best way to go in my opinion.


When it comes to poses I find versatile ways of making poses that are not intentionally unisex to work for males as well if chosen to. My friends at Image Essentials put out this really cute pose set at the TWE12VE event called “Flirt”. With some good old fashioned persistence I made it work for me as well though I admit that it is better suited for the fairer sex, I am able to figure out a way to make things work to my advantage. Maybe I’ll call it “Brennanized” at least for now and see if it sticks.

10 poses are included in this pose pack (5 + 5 opposite/mirror poses) which I am showing you two of them that I felt could best work with my scene and the vision I was going for.

That is all there is for me to say on this look and scene so I’m going to leave you to viewing the credits of this badboy and not dick around (yeah bad pun that I couldn’t resist) so I am able to start planning and working on the next outfit and blog to try and get at least one if not two more in before the end of the month. It’s been a lot of fun leaning a bit on the dark side so who knows what the future will hold considering that I view myself as a strictly PG blogger for the most part.

It’s 2018…just a few days in and here’s the first transmission from yours truly for These Conversations Kill. I feel like I started out on an edgier note with this first entry but I feel like as the world continues to change in whatever way, sometimes doing different things is a necessity. This post came about when I came across one of the main pieces of the scene, the Choices backdrop by FOXCITY. It poses a great question that many of us are probably stuck in the middle of every day.


Build or Destroy… I think that is likely a central theme in 2018 and likely beyond. Personally I believe the world has been destroyed little by little every day without any consequence or regard. I’m not stating it to try and be political because it’s not only politicians who are part of this, it is every single person and likely even myself included. In my mind this year is one I want to improve upon…to build. To help build myself towards something better and help build those up around me and to strengthen the chain.


For the last several entries I’ve been employing some newer skills that I learned in my creative process and I feel like it is helping me with the little bit of a block that I had for several months. Maybe with these new things it will help me create even better photos that not only tell a story like I’ve done since day one but also help those who design the items I am featuring prosper better as well.

Trying to stay on track here, I want to encourage all you fellas that are fans of Clef de Peau to go to their store and pick up the great gifts that have been left for members of the in-world group. If you like what you see and are NOT a member, it’s easy all you have to do is sign up when you reach the store (the taxi will be in the credits below).Β  I’m not sure which item out of the three I’m excited about the most. The baggy pants are really great and the shirt with the skulls on it is really cool as well. There is another shirt included in the gifts that has a design on it as well but the skulls spoke to me more even though I did like the other design as well.


A new (and the second) round of The Men’s Jail is coming up soon and I am proud to say that the feature is the “Blackbridge Bracelet” by {Q-Essentials}. What some of you might not realize is that the principal owner and creator of the brand is also my father. Seeing his work in an event like The Men’s Jail puts a smile on my face as I know how hard he works to try and build his brand much like I do trying to build upon each entry of These Conversations Kill. This is why I had to feature the bracelet and not because it is from my father’s store, it’s because I think it’s awesome and think you’ll enjoy it too once the event opens and you have the opportunity to take a look/get your hands on it.

HAIR: No.Match – No Bling

This hair was originally purchased during a round of Cosmopolitan and I had ideas for it to be used in but they never materialized. Once I started putting together this kind of post-apoc look it reminded me that I had that hair and that it might fight the look I was going for. I purchased the variety pack so it has the basic colors in it that you would normally associate most people having for hair color.

What drew me to this shirt instantly is the skull design as it is kinda my thing. The shirt is rather long compared to a regular t-shirt and I’m probably incorrect but it seems like the type you would find a raver wearing (don’t shoot me if I’m wrong). I like the shorter than normal sleeves as well as it allows more of the bicep to show and allow anyone who has well toned arms to show off what they’ve got.

PANTS: Clef de Peau – Jogger Pants Black (Group Gift) ⚜ NEW

Super baggy jogger pants…what can I say about them? They remind me a lot of a style of pant called “bushido” pants and I actually own a pair of them in the real world. I practically live in them during the warmer months because they aren’t quite like pants but they aren’t exactly shorts either. It’s a perfect blend and they flow really well when you walk (unless it would be really close to a machine then you might want to be pretty careful not to get caught up in it).

While I could probably throw this into the actual accessories section, it is a wearable so I’m going to leave it where it is in the apparel area. As you might have read above, my father is the Q behind {Q-Essentials}. I was granted an advanced copy of both versions to help test them out and during the process I really noticed how cool these were. Bracelets and rings are something I like to wear and in-world it is a lot easier than wearing necklaces as they are so darn hard to get to look right on a permanent basis sometimes. This item is at The Men’s Jail but the round is not quite open so I’m not going to leave a taxi right now but I’ll come back and edit this once the event opens (hopefully I remember!).

BACKDROP: FOXCITY. Photo Booth – Choices (Group Gift)

This backdrop I’ve seen in various different works by other fashion bloggers and I wanted to try my hand at putting something together with it. I feel like the “Build or Destroy” concept is a really good one as I alluded to before (unless you skipped right down to the credits which is okay too). Probably one of the more recent backdrops of this scale happens to be quite a favorite. I’m not sure if I’ll find a use for it again but maybe I will find a way to revisit it in the future.

Some time has passed since RK Poses returned from a bit of a hiatus to start creating poses again and me picking any of them up. This set seemed to call to me when I was browsing around so I thought it would be good to use and I’ve used two of the six poses in the set during this photo shoot so I feel I’ve gotten my monies worth. Definitely will find a way to incorporate these poses into future sessions.

Grooming myself for the soon to becoming month of October (my favorite month of the year) I decided that I was going to go for something a little spooky. It just simply took finding the right place and placing a simple red balloon for effect and the idea for the theme somewhat fits the visuals (or at least I feel they do to an extent).

Could the person in the scene be in for some nightmares? It’s quite possible and if you’re looking for an interesting spot to explore or take photos and are into macabre scenes then right now is a good time to visit Cerulean Mountain. I just discovered the sim right before I was getting ready to get this scene set up and came to check it out. There are plenty of spots that I’ll look forward to coming back to for future scenes. It’s been quite a while since Kristyna Wikifoo released a male skin for the Go&See brand but as you can see we have a new one that just came out at this current round of Men Only Monthly. 4 different tones to choose from which you can apply to Omega compatible heads. The applier features brow or browless version with each of them also having a facial hair option to them as well. It’s a very handsome skin to take a look into. There is also a shape and eyebrow shaper included for CATWA Daniel which is what it was designed to look best for.

The month of September has been a great one for finding items at TMD. Rounded glasses are probably one of my favorite fashion accessories of all time. I am quite sure that these are patterned after the ones worn by John Lennon which is another reason why I like them so much. I hope everyone’s doing well since the last entry. Things here are going the same which is always good, right? For this look I’ve got some new items from n21, Men Only Monthly, and the Signature Event that should wet your appetite. Let’s get into it right away, shall we?

lock&tuft has a new hair/hat combination you can purchase at the February/March round of n21 that just started back on the 20th. It’s called “ashton”. You can purchase various color packs or get the full pack with all of them. There are 3 different packs to choose from and all of them (full pack included) comes with a HUD for the hat, which has 9 different colors to choose from. It’s definitely not just a winter type hat, it has plenty of year round use so you don’t have to put it away soon when all of that cool weather moves out.

At the Signature Event you can pick up a pair of the new “Riley” jeans from {COLD-ASH}. These jeans come in six different denim colors and have a HUD for changing the belt color or hiding it altogether. The version I am wearing in this entry are the straight leg variety. You can also purchase the boot cut version in the same denim colors or as full packs. If you love wearing jeans then why not go for the gold and get them all! One more thing about the boot cut version, you get a choice of having the cut be high, mid, or low depending on the type of boot you want to wear. As with just about all of the skins made by Modulus, this has an option for just the face without brows while using your own. You can use the ones built in as an option and can also have facial hair by itself or all in one for a full look. Choose which one is best for you but there is truly no wrong way.
