Two collaborations back to back? *gasps* It’s not really all that shocking lately considering that some of my most inspired work has come from working with others and on top of that it is a great time. For this blog I wanted to take this pose by MOTIV8 and show just how versatile it can be. Originally designed for a male couple, Brenna and I tested a theory on if we could create a photo using the “Frisk” couples pose and make it our own.

With poses I feel that if it isn’t 100% clear cut and even if it is, there’s ways to make it work outside of the box thus testing my theory that this pose can be utilized by any couples dynamic and look great. So if you’ve been to The Men’s Jail and thought maybe this pose wasn’t for you…now you have a reason to give it a second look and use it for your photography or blogging.

UrbanStreet provided the tattoos I am wearing with their latest for TMJ called “FlorNa”. I’m a fan of roses and floral patterns and the design of this ink is very well done; this time I even wore the fresh (aka dark) version to really show how it stands out and is super colorful. I would like to believe that there are guys out there who are just as into ink as I am so this has the potential to be very popular on the grid even after the event ends.

My style for this blog even includes jewelry by HK Designs, their “Pathways Necklace” adorns my neck and while it comes with a HUD that includes a lot of colors I couldn’t deviate from my love of silver. The colored versions give off a really nice glow feel which is perfect for the club/rave crowd that enjoy accessories and also bringing a little extra attention their way.

The “Cyber Pant” by Rekt rounds out the items I’m featuring from The Men Jail in this post and the lighting in my photo perhaps does not show them off in the best way possible but I can tell you they are very unique as well as give you two different options for wear (a strapless version which is what I am wearing and a pair with straps).

Modulus is participating in the Belle Event and for this they’ve released the messy “Rory” hairstyle. The first thing I had in mind was to give it some color so that it would pop with the colors of the tattoo as well as fit in with the song I chose for the blog soundtrack. Keeping that in mind, I used the Monotone HUD and the integrated color picker to find a happy medium.

The result of a bleached and chlorinated hair color helps set the tone for a tune that’s been stuck in my head ever since I heard it for the first time. The messy look definitely coincides with the situation in the scene along with the dice and handcuffs that have yet to come into play in the moment. This is definitely a recommended style and could even help you create a bad boy look as I have done.

Time for me to hit some honorable mentions that make an appearance in this post starting with the “Urban View” backdrop by Paparazzi. It is a really awesome build that has a night time building scheme to it that really gives an excellent ambience for what I wanted to do with the scene; I can’t heap enough praise on the work that Drew Sunflower does with backdrops and skyboxes which makes me look forward to each and every release.

For the ladies, Brenna is wearing the latest double release from Narcisse that is currently part of the Fetish Fair. The “Beaumont Halter Top” and “Fergie Waspie Skirt” are just the thing to make the lady in your life get the blood pumping in your heart and the adrenaline to rush through your veins. I’m only modestly showing this off in my photo but seeing it for yourself is a must.

The Fetish Fair runs through the 2nd of March.

On that note I have covered just about everything that I can think of that is important to the creation of this scene and I can leave you with the styles for both Brenna and I just in case something inspired you and you want to add something to your closet or photography experience. I also have to say that I’m really enjoying using Black Dragon to take my photographs; my confidence has risen several notches once I began utilizing it and I am getting more comfortable with the settings as well.

Hello once again, sorry it has been a while since my last entry but things have been a bit hectic lately. Also had some setbacks trying to get this photo session off with some in-world hiccups so it was suspended a day or so and then the real world kicked in but I got it done and here we are!

I thought that I would combine a little funny/serious tone to this scene.

First I am going to place a little disclaimer by saying that what you see in today’s look/scene does not entirely reflect the views of myself or These Conversations Kill. While I’m not for the use of recreational drugs, I am not against it. Everything has a time and a place and what people decide to do with their time and their bodies is completely up to them. I simply wanted to make a reference to the blog post # in question with a little play on the unofficial smoker’s holiday.

This look that I have is full of items from brand collaborators who have offered review copies for me to feature and tell you about as well as give any thoughts I might have. Designers contributing to this blog entry are Modulus, Mesange and {COLD-ASH}.

Events that I’ve been to and or the review items are located at include Men Only Monthly, The Men’s Department, as well as FaMESHed, We Love RP and Shiny Shabby which all have great various items for males at them right now!

I was recently reminded of a great location to photograph at, The Last Forever. It was time to take a trip back to see if there was a good spot to park my pixels and be able to capture a good scene once I had the pose all ready to go.

You’ll be able to tell with the theme of this entry that the street name (which you can see in the first photo) is appropriate for what is going on in the scene.

While I was browsing the shopping guide for the FaMESHed event, I came across the latest footwear from Bleich. I own a few pairs of shoes from the brand but as of late I hadn’t because they had not yet come out with anything for Balleza but that has changed. The Wheeler sneakers are everything I love about low-tops. They are patterned after a certain animal named brand and are untied. Bleich sure upped the anti a bit for my love of low-top sneakers and I think you’ll love these just as much as I do. They are available in 6 different colorways.

While there really isn’t much I can offer as far as insight into this pose and prop because what you see is what you get, I do have to say it is nicely done and I’ve used several poses from this brand and will continue to utilize them however I can.

I would also like to note that the store itself is having a sale on singles and couples poses until the 17th of November. All single poses are marked at 25L and Couples poses are 50L. If you need poses for your works it doesn’t hurt to go do some shopping you may find plenty of things to work with.
