It’s been a little bit of a tough week. Since I last made an entry I had some slight setbacks with my rig and it put a slight damper on being able to blog (which of course when I have time to and really wanted to it was impossible). I’ve also celebrated another year of birth this past weekend so that was pretty exciting but now that the dust has settled it’s back to business as usual. A new round of Men Only Monthly opened which I am excited for, I had a sneak peak of it before it opened but I definitely need to get back there for more items. There has been little time for shopping as of late but I intend to hit the events hard in the next week so I can put together some cool outfits and visuals to share with all of you.

I am also happy to be partnered with the Avi-Glam brand once again as they are once again sponsors of myself and These Conversations Kill. I look forward to featuring their new products and sharing them with you. I started with a set of eyes in the last post and I’ve done it again this time as well with ones that are from Shiny Shabby.

Silky Eyes are the latest product from Avi-Glam. There are 6 different iris tones and each one comes with a HUD to change each eye (or if you want to go with a different one for each side you can choose another color). There are also three sizes of pupil available as well (Small, Medium, or Large). The product includes HUDs for Catwa and Omega applier enabled eyes or one for the two mesh eyes that are included. I really like these, they photograph well but then I’ve always enjoyed this brand’s eyes.

Lee Valentine is at it again! This new skin is based off of that one guy that’s in a show that just about everyone watches (except me because I’m late to the party). Very handsome English looking fellow that comes in the form of a CATWA applier. The body appliers you can find at the Stray Dog store in the form of their T2 shade. For this skin I went back to the Daniel head because it looked best between the two that I own. The package does include and eyebrow and body shape respectively but I did not use the body shape this time around.

I’ve been a fan of Kitt Ragu’s work for a long time, the ::K:: brand often has interesting clothing even if it is not my style or fits the avatar I might be wearing at the time. Fortunate enough for me the new Popover shirt at The Men’s Department has a size for Belleza which I took advantage of. This shirt is definitely a casual one with there being a bit of open space in the front. Normally I do not wear unbuttoned shirts like this but I figured I’d take a walk on the wild side and give it a try; believe me I was not disappointed. You can get this shirt in 5 different colors and sizes included besides what I’ve already mentioned are: Signature, SLink, and TMP.

So you’ve just bought the Popover Shirt and don’t have any pants you want to wear with it? Well you don’t have to go very far because right at the same booth at The Men’s Department are the Slim Fit Jeans. These jeans come in the same sizes as the shirt and has 6 different denim types to choose from. Included in the package also are several colored belts if wearing them is something you like to do but it is totally optional. I’m really happy with how these items pair up and I think you will be too.

More than likely I have probably mentioned before that it is more difficult to find shoes for the Belleza body unless you use the SLink feet fit and wear shoes that are fitted for them (which doesn’t necessarily always work well). That is why I was excited to see these low-top sneakers at Men Only Monthly. Native Urban is a brand I’ve known for some time and have purchased things from them with a high level of satisfaction and these are no different. Just to let you all know, I purchased the FATPACK just because I know I can use a different color for another potential outfit in the future or just to wear around when I’m out shopping or hanging out. Sizes included for this product are Belleza, Signature, SLink, and Unrigged for Standard Avatars. Also included in the FATPACK is a HUD to change the color of the shoe as well as different parts (such as the soles, the back patch etc).

“Burning Down The House” – The Talking Heads ♫Listen♫

I‘ve returned after drawing some inspiration from the olden days of music but adding a little bit of TCK twist to it to make it work. I’ve always been fascinated by the music of The Talking Heads from back when I was younger and still kind of finding my way through what I liked music wise. I think it is because of artists like this I have found an appreciation for many different kinds of music.

Artistically I like to create images that may seem different or odd to some but are perfectly normal to me. That’s the beauty of art, you don’t really have to like it if you don’t want to because at some point there will be someone that will and I am quite alright with that. I know I enjoy it at least so it starts from there.

I managed to find a really great background prop to use for this photo session that made the idea that I had in my head a little easier. At first I was not sure how I was going to pull it off or if I was going to try and use post production but I found an item that fit perfectly.

Stealthic has been around for a short time as a part of the virtual hair creating scene. What I like best about this brand (which many brands are starting to do as well) is offer a styling HUD so that you can have a variation of it that may sway to either the right or the left of maybe even have it a little more fly-away. It’s just one of the things I consider a value when making a purchasing decision and a feature that I think is being more sought after. With 6 different color packs to choose from (a FATPACK is also available) there’s no reason not to check out this hair.

From the previous round of Shiny Shabby, these eyes have vibrant tones and make them great for use in just about any kind of thing you do virtually. The package includes HUDS for CATWA, Omega, and LetLutka compatible appliers as well as mesh eyes with a HUD to change between the different colors (6 in total to choose from).

When browsing through TMD and seeing a lot of the usual suspects that I have come to know, love, and admire, I came across a new skin by a brand that I had never previously heard of before. Amias really did a good job with the “KIAN” skin (which comes in a choice of 3 tones). Also available at their booth are the body appliers (which you can get for Belleza, Signature, and SLink bodies). This Catwa applier has several options to choose from (no brows to several colored brows as well as clean shaven to two different lengths of stubble). I am very impressed with this product and would recommend it for anyone looking to give something new a try.

Some time has passed since I purchased a product from Ascend and while I was strolling through FaMESHed I came across their latest release (a jacket/shirt combination) the “Marc” Jacket. Sold individually or as a FATPACK, these jackets have a color change HUD included for the shirt to give you several options to fit your style. I purchased the Plain version, but there are also three other versions available (Denim, Pinstriped and Tweed).

While I cannot officially say these pants were meant to be a part of a whole suit (combined with the Marc Jacket) but I will say that they compliment one another very well. The pants also come in the same styles as the jacket so you can mix and match or stick with the same style. Both the jacket and pants will fit users wearing Adam, Belleza, Signature, SLink, and TMP mesh bodies. The shoes are a part of a whole suit that was being offered at an event quite a long time ago but since I had them sitting around and they worked with the look I was going for I thought I would wear them. Sadly though they are not available currently but you could always contact the people at Gabriel and inquire about it. There’s no harm in doing so.

One thing I never anticipated was actually being able to find a house that was actually on fire. With some scouring over the marketplace I was able to find this build which worked perfectly as a back setting in which my theme was based off of. It also gives off that kind of eerie vibe to it as well if you are able to look close enough.
