I welcome everyone back to another look from yours truly, where this time I have goodies from events such as UBER, Designer Circle, Cosmopolitan, Man Cave and also Men Only Monthly. Just like usual you’ll find the full credits below where you will be given transportation to the events and stores themselves. I’m going to try something a bit new with this entry and for the new items that are being featured I’ll write a little bit about each of them. Let me get into what went on in this one so I can get you out there to enjoy a shopping experience.
⊰HAIR⊱ BURLEY – Gabriel
Burley is a well known name in the hair game in the world of Second Life, most people reading this will know that but just in case you haven’t found this fine example of stylish tresses then I am glad that I am able to give you a taste. The recently released “Gabriel” hair is a nice mid length side combed hair but what makes this just a bit more special is that it comes with a styler HUD and gives you the option to choose if you want the full hair or a version where the side is shaved which is something of a major hair trend that I’m noticing. For this item I went with the variety pack as there were more than I would possibly use with the full FATPACK, but there’s still a generous amount of colors included. You are also getting an included Hairbase for Legacy users, and also applier HUDs for Omega, Signature, and TMP respectively.

We are in the final days of the current round of Cosmopolitan in which Avi-Glam is participating with their release of the “Passion Eyes”. There are 6 different colors to choose from all with little flecks in them to make them even more unique. Provided in this package are mesh eyes as well as HUDs for Catwa, LeLutka, and Omega applier enabled eye products.

Kauna, a brand known for their clothing such as their suits and more recently jeans/boots combination have stepped into new territory with their release of new bento facial hair, a beard and a moustache. The “English” Moustuache is a very old style handlebar that works really nicely with the “Shape A” beard. Both of these come with a HUD with 9 pre-selectable hair colors but also has a tintable feature if your style choice is not one of the ones included. For a first effort, I think Kauna nailed this and is a product that I’ll certainly feature again in the future. It must also be noted that this beard is for users or Catwa branded heads. If you have something other than Daniel and Stanley it is advised to try the demo first. You can find both of these at the inaugural round of Man Cave, and from one fella to another, I definitely recommend it to any beard lover.

I’m really excited about the latest release by Aitui that is currently available at UBER, which just started a fresh round several days ago. The “Mountaineer” shirt is best described as a graphic tee with the added benefit of suspenders thrown in. There are 8 colors to choose from and fit Signature, SLink, and TMP mesh bodies. I’m wearing the “Ash” version which is a mid to dark gray color. I partnered it up with the companion item that can aslo be found at the same event. The “Mountaineer Waist Wrap” is a cool flannel shirt that goes around the waist and works for that potential evening chill one might experience hanging out at the beach. The waist wrap has HUD with 8 different choices and fits the same three body formats the shirt does. I really knew I had to have these the moment I saw them and I certainly hope you get that same feeling.

The shorts are just the right length just above the kneecap as I don’t like them all that short personally. I found myself browsing around Shiny Shabby when it opened and came across some high tops by a brand I was not familiar with. At the event, The Own has the “Must Have Chucks” in a variety of colors and also a few themed ones based of television shows and also characters. The ones I am wearing have a really cool image of the Caped Crusader and his nemesis on one side and on the other an image of The Clown Prince of Crime. I’m a sneaker addict so it didn’t take a lot of convincing for me to snag up the FATPACK; the included sizes are (Maitreya and SLink for Females) and (Signature, SLink, and TMP for Males). ⊰BACKDROP⊱ [Bad Unicorn] Barbers Backdrop ♯ ☆NEW☆ @ Limit8 (Sold Out)
Limit8 is a great event that gives shoppers the chance to own one of a kind items that even before the event ends could be sold completely out of stock. One of those items that is being featured here is the “Barbers Backdrop” from Bad Unicorn Clothing. These scene depicts the front of a closed barber shop and comes with a secured door and even has a barbers pole to give it that true authentic shop look. Bad Unicorn did really well with this and just like their other backdrops made it fun to pose in front of. The neon signs even cast off a reddish glow to them; I’m glad to say that I have this genuine one of a kind item.

Designer Circle is not often an event that I’m able to find items but I just happened to find one of the latest pose sets by Image Essentials, in which I am able to review copies of. The GothNIC pose set was designed for the female in mind but I was able to find a way to take one of the poses from the set and use it to help create my scene. I have to say I really enjoy being able to take poses that aren’t specifically for guys and put a spin on them and make them work. For those ladies who might be reading this, these really are great poses to use for such occasions as creating profile pictures. Why not head to Designer Circle and take a look for yourself you may be surprised how much you like them.
