[#640] TV Dinners

TV dinners I’m feelin’ kinda rough
TV dinners this one’s kinda tough
I like the enchiladas and the teriaki too
I even like the chicken if…. the sauce is not too blue.

ZZ Top, ♫TV Dinners♫

I couldn’t resist doing this blog the moment I found out that Larnia created a TV Dinner decor item for Vintage Fair. These things were well utilized in my childhood and while they were likely pretty bad for you (and the ones today are very full of sodium as well) it was almost always on the menu whenever my folks had to go somewhere and had to make sure that my brother and I were fed.

Seeing this product was a bit of a nostalgia moment for me so I couldn’t resist using it as part of my scene to claim one of my item slots in the post. It’s pretty well detailed and also available at the event as exclusives are tv tray to place said dinner on and and old time television. Along with the TV Dinner is the Deep Static “Alvy Eyeglasses” which can be worn as regular reading glasses or as sunglasses whichever the choice might be all with scripted color change lenses and frames.

From my goodies I picked up at this current round of Men Only Monthly, is the “Baseball Shirts” by BlankLine. I’m a jersey kind of guy so that one was a must as a fatpack I mean there was no way around that and I’m considering going back for the Exalted one too because it’s pretty awesome too.

Now I know what a TV Dinner feels like.

[#627] All Along The Watchtower

All along the watchtower
Princes kept the view
While all the women came and went
Barefoot servants too

Jimi Hendrix Experience, ♫All Along The Watchtower♫

When I was thinking about songs that I felt would go with the visual of this blog I came up with a few of them but the one that stood out was “All Along The Watchtower”. Originally by Bob Dylan, it’s almost always associated with Jimi Hendrix who did a cover version of it a year after it was first recorded. I have nothing against Bob Dylan, the fact remains that I’ve already used some of his songs already and until today have never featured anything from Hendrix, who I have always felt was an amazing talent who left the world too soon. Perhaps maybe some of the best musicians who were gone much too soon could have continued blazing a path or could have fell off the face of the planet but it’s something we’ll never know as we cherish the things they gave us while they were here.

I chose to visit Ironwood Hills, which is a place I enjoy going to when I want to do some kind of post-apocalyptic scenes. Though with this I didn’t throw in any zombies or anything because I’ve done that and I wanted to make it more about anticipation instead of action. While I may not actually be on a watchtower in the scene, I am keeping an eye out with this pose set by Kirek Poses called the “Defense Pack” there are three different poses each with an accompanying rifle. To me the pose I picked really shows that I’m surveying the area but if need but would be ready to defend myself from whatever could be around the corner.

Kirek Poses – Defense Pose Pack

  • Bento static poses (poseball versions included)
  • 3 different poses
  • Rifle for each pose included
  • Pose Fair exclusive until 05/25/19

My wardrobe is a mixture of both old and new but I’m going to focus on the event specific things that have hit some events this month. My glasses are a part of a new gacha from BlankLine that have two different styles of glasses each with different frame colors to play for. Somehow I got lucky and was able to pull the RARE from the machine that includes a HUD that can change the lenses on it with emoji’s and things like that. I am going to have to see if I can get my hands on one of the commons I was looking for because after getting the the most sought after prize, I felt like I shouldn’t keep trying my luck.

I also have been hanging onto these for a bit since Anthem opened because I wanted to break them in for the right scene and they almost made it into the last one but I reserved them for a little longer. I’m talking about the “Kojima Jeans” from Deadwool, and this is I believe the first major jeans release for the store since the collab with Blueberry a few years ago; I may be wrong so if I am I’m sure someone will inform me. These are fantastic and great fitting with several features including three different leg bottom styles (Deep Cuffs, Rolled Up and Stacked) and for those interested in getting the FATPACK there is a cool belt loop chain included but for those of you who just want maybe one or two color choices you’re in luck as well because it is sold separately too.

The beard I picked up from LeLutka maybe a week or so ago has literally been one of my most favorite things ever and seemingly haven’t been able to take photos without it. I think this evening was the first time I went without it as I took Brenna to the big prom that was posted about on Facebook. I wanted to truly clean up well and did so by shaving my face so I looked fresh. I’m sure that by tomorrow the beard will be back or by the time I take the next photo but we will have to see.

[#566] Pay Me What You Owe Me

Hold up
My money!
Yo, my money!
That bitch better have my money!
Bitch better have my money!

Rihanna., ♫Bitch Better Have My Money

One of the things I thought about when I started thinking about goals for the blog in 2019, I considered trying to have a bit more of a diverse soundtrack to some of my posts as well as creating images that in some way were diverse as well. I’m not sure how that will pan out since it’s only been a few days in but if I keep focused, I am pretty sure that I will do well.

For this post I chose to focus mostly on the “I Said… Please” pose and props from X.T.C. PoSes; while it is intended as a couples pose I managed to corral my brother Paul to pose for this with me and I assumed the role of the bat wielder. Originally I considered dressing up like Negan from The Walking Dead but how many times has that been done logically? I didn’t want to go to that well (even though I may at some point now was not the time).

What better way to bring this pose to life then by cranking up Rihanna’s “Bitch Better Have My Money” that was actually a tune I considered for an earlier blog post from last year but ended up deciding wasn’t right for the time. It definitely has colorful language but at the same time it drives home the message of the image that I’ve taken with me about to bust a cap with my handy bat on a fool that owes me money (apologies to my brother for being that fool).

X.T.C. PoSes I Said…Please Pose and Props:

  • Bento enabled poses (Bento viewer needed)
  • Mesh Money and Bat included (no copy versions)
  • Pile of money built into poses
  • Exclusively @ Anti-Event until 01/07/19

Aiding me to complete the gritty urban scene I enlisted the help of the “Bleak Street” backdrop by Paparazzi. This backdrop takes things to the next level as in my personal experience I have not see a backdrop that comes with a HUD to change out certain things about it (in this case the store signs); it really added to the respect I have for Drew Sunflower who is at the top of my list when it comes to backdrops. If there is anyone else out there that’s done this I’ve not come across it but I think more people will try to attempt this this approach to customizing backdrops which is expected in a sense but is a win for all of us.

But of course at least one of the first to do it was Paparazzi and that’s what I’ll remember for a good while; if a need arises for a setting that requires like street scene then this is something I’d recommend as it was exactly what I needed to capture the moment I saw in my head without making it super violent. It’s matter of fact and that’s how I’m going to leave it…also tells you not to owe me money!

Paparazzi Bleak Street Backdrop:

  • Original Mesh
  • Built in lighting (can be modified if desired)
  • Store signs changeable via included HUD
  • Currently available @ the Paparazzi in-world store

For anyone that may be curious I was also able to get Paul’s credits which will be down at the end of the blog along with the other important infos not apart of the written area of the blog. Taxi’s to all these great places await as I do believe it is time for me to publish this entry and take a slight breather as I have quite a few things going on this month (The Men Jail’s January round as well as other great things from my blogger brand partners).

Now to hit the bank to deposit this dough but until the next blog, be well!

[#544] Waking Lions

Is this better, tell me there’s a better way
I’m not afraid, I’m not gonna hide from the
Vultures above, serpents below
They wanna lay me to rest, but I won’t go
Yeah

Pop Evil, ♫Waking The Lions

Often enough I get these ideas in my head for photos but I don’t always take them right when it comes to me; I think the reason is because there is something that I might not have for a style or it is just timing but when the moment hits when I know it’s time to take the photo I don’t hesitate otherwise I could lose it for good.

Losing ideas when it takes enough time to create them is bad in this line of work (though it’s not really work it feels more like professional fun without getting paid).

For the blog post today I wanted to share a positive message and along with the song “Waking Lions” by Pop Evil that is sure to be felt if you follow the link at the top to give it a listen (hopefully it is available in as many countries as possible). The message being that there are lots of times when we feel down to the point where maybe getting up is no longer worth it but believe me it is worth it and becoming stronger and finding your inner lion to take on the challenges in front of you can make the difference not only for yourself but others around you.

It’s a principle I know that I try to follow every day as much as I possibly can.

The Man Cave event ended earlier than I expected or remembered so I just missed being able to feature the “Vincent Hair” from Modulus for the event. The style is a predominantly combed back hair with a few locks falling forward on either the right or the left side of the face (depending on which version you wear). I am wearing it on the left side as that is more to where my body is leaning in the photo.

Once again I’m wearing a lighter color and with the help of the lighting (via the windlight I chose) is helping it take on some cool highlighting which I find turned out really well as a result.

This hair is available at the Modulus in-world store and will be coming soon their marketplace.

Modulus Vincent Hair features:

  • 100% Alpha Hair ‘Next Gen’ mesh
  • Mirrored left and right versions included
  • 5 Cold HUD options + integrated color tinting
  • FATPACK also available with all 40 colors
  • Available @ the Modulus In-World Location

After a bit of a hiatus, Hermony is back not only with one product by himself but a collaboration with TonkTastic at this months TMD. While I will be covering the collab soon, this time I’m featuring the “Eyes of The Beholder” eye set which is probably one of my most favorite eye releases in recent times. There are a lot of different iris colors to choose from and these eyes work with both the CATWA eyes that come rigged with your head (with the help of a button on the applier HUD) or the unrigged eyes you can get from the CATWA store itself.

It gives you the option also for both regular eyes and also “stoned” eyes or you can also refer to them as bloodshot eyes which can also come from other things besides partaking in a puff or two. You could definitely go through a night of liquid encouragement to wind up with eyes like that as well as lack of sleep too but it’s a nice added touch personally.

If you want a demonstration on how these eyes work please visit this instructional video HERE!

Hermony Eyes of The Beholder features:

  • Applier HUDs for CATWA + Genus Project
  • Mesh eyeballs also included
  • 18 color iris’ to choose from (#3 featured)
  • Clear or stoned versions included
  • Colors sold separately or as a FATPACK (discounted for event)
  • Exclusively @ TMD until November 30th!

Looks like that should about do it for this blog post as I mentioned last time I’d try to keep it as linear as I possibly could to avoid boring anyone who might stop by. There’s definitely more things coming up that I look forward to featuring in blogs that I hope others will like as well. To give an idea of what is coming up there’s more from Hermony & TonkTastic as I spoke about above as well as more Modulus hair from totally recent events as well as some more new gear from Native Urban and Bakaboo just to mention a few.

Time for me to move on to the next conversation…

[#528] The Luckiest

Next door there’s an old man who lived to his nineties
And one day passed away in his sleep
And his wife; she stayed for a couple of days
And passed away

I’m sorry, I know that’s a strange way to tell you that I know we belong
That I know

Ben Folds, ♫The Luckiest♫

Continuing with my latest series of light and feel good photos, I didn’t have my soundtrack for this blog until after I finished taking the photos for it. Sometimes I will just search on Google for songs that relate to an emotion and see what pages come up and listen to some of the results. This time I did a search for “songs about celebrating a relationship” and listened to a few selections but nothing could beat “The Luckiest” by Ben Folds.

I’ve been familiar with Ben Folds music for decades as he’s been a solo artist as well as part of a quintet (Ben Folds Five) and some of his songs are nerdy but a fair amount of them really pack an emotional punch and that is what this song does. If anyone that does read this clicks the links to the videos that I post the links to in the quotation at the top you will know what I’m talking about. This song makes you think even with it’s quirk towards the end it is definitely a song that fits my search.

The “To Us” pose by Image Essentials is a good representation of celebrating a relationship between two people. A longing gaze from the gentleman as they both toast their happiness with on another is a special moment and a fine depiction. I had to make a few adjustments with my pose but little needed to be done otherwise. The props with the couples pose (the chair, two glasses of champagne, and the champagne bottle itself) are nicely done should definitely be looked at by any couple that wants to take a portrait to hang on the wall.

Image Essentials To Us Couples Pose (With Props) features:

  • Bento enabled couples pose (Bento viewer required to use properly)
  • Mesh couch contains poses (and added props)
  • Available @ Image Essentials flagship store

Hot off my previous blog where I featured the first of two new hair releases by Modulus from the 2018 edition of Hair Fair, I am rounding out the coverage for the store by wearing the “Elijah” short hair. I chose to use the same hairbase with this hair to add some depth as well. Compared to the Fraser hair I had on in the previous blog, this one is much shorter and a bit on the curly side as far as I can describe it to you; plenty of colors to choose from as always with Modulus as well.

With four days left of this year’s Hair Fair to go…if you haven’t checked it out yet then what are you waiting for?

Modulus Elijah Hair features:

  • 100% original alpha next gen mesh
  • 5 different color HUDs available with 8 base colors in each
  • 40 color FATPACK also available
  • Integrated color picker in each HUD for added customization
  • Left or right versions in package
  • Exclusively @ Hair Fair until October 7th!!!

The two above things are main features for this blog but I have to give mention to the recent BlankLine release from the September round of The Men’s Department. I am wearing the “KnitVestShirts” which I feel is a classic look and best fit the scene I had in mind when I was brainstorming it. I chose to go the FATPACK route with this because I wasn’t sure what color style I liked and having all the options (being able to color change the shirt, vest and tie allowed for me to come up with exactly what I wanted).

With more to come to the pages of this site I am going to thank those of you who visited and anyone who follows me on any of the social media outlets, it really is humbling hearing from those of you who I have never met talk about things I’ve posted. This blog is not just for me and anyone who has felt any of the feelings that have been expressed or have become inspired by the images or words, this is for you too.

Until our paths cross again, onto the next conversation…

[#473] The Cheap Seats

This town ain’t big, this town ain’t small.
It’s a little of both they say.
Our ball club may be minor league but at least it’s triple A.

Alabama, ♫The Cheap Seats

It’s that time of year again, the smell of grass and the crack of bats and a full nine innings (sometimes more) which means the Baseball season is under way. I’ve noticed on social media fellow bloggers & photographers were at it right on opening day but I was preparing something and I wanted to do it without rushing or feeling overwhelmed by it.

The pose fair is about to begin tomorrow and fortunate enough for me the posemakers at Just Posing created a pack of poses called “Batter Up” with five different poses (a mixture of male and female which I’m sure you can get creative and go outside the box and use them all with either gender in mind) to choose from you’ll be able to catch the essence of the great American game. Also the bats are included with the poses so that you won’t have to try and find a compatible bat and figure out how to make it look right, they are included and fit each pose like a glove (haha see what I did there?)

I wanted to capture the spirit of a small time baseball spot something along the lines of what you might have seen in the movie, “The Sandlot” which is one of my top 5 favorite baseball movies of all time. Though I couldn’t quite find all the pieces I needed to make that I decided to be more low key and make something that was more of like a park ball diamond or something that little league and softball teams play on.

I’m not the greatest at set building so I used various things that I had laying around and the way the entire photo session turned out was really a fun process and turned out great. Those are the kind that really boost your confidence and add to the fun of what blogging can be. Yes I am a blogger for Pose Fair but I don’t feel like when I was doing this scene that it was a requirement, it was fun and it made me think of the summer and how I’m going to enjoy being outside not having to wear a jacket and spending time outside smelling the grills around the neighborhood.

For the outfit I went with things that were simple and what is more simple then jeans and a t-shirt? I could have looked in my closet and found something I’ve already worn but I had my eye on a basic tee at the Hipster Men’s Event made by CHEERNO, who we all knew as someone who made various mesh accessories, skins, you name it and after a break he’s back to creating and doing clothing which is just as well put together as anything I’ve ever seen from his brand. The “S/S 18 Tee Basic” which I am wearing in “Sand” because I felt like plain white was just something that was too obvious and wanted to deviate from the norm even if just a little bit. The tee fits the Belleza, Signature (Gianni), and SLink mesh male bodies but maybe some of the others could try a demo and see if they can use alpha cuts to make it work for them. It’s really cool as far as basic shirts go and definitely something I personally recommend if you are looking for casual wear.

Before I wrap things up, I wanted to take a quick moment to say that even though I created this blog earlier in the month of March I didn’t put together my first post until the 31st of the month. Today is the true 4 year anniversary of These Conversations Kill and with 473 posts under its belt this site has been one of my best achievements and I wouldn’t change any of what I’ve done with it or on it in these 4 years. I’ve had good times and bad (as all of us have) and I feel that even though I may not be where I’d like to be I am just on the verge of it and my thoughts have changed and progressed and will continue to bring my style from the grid to the grid. Thank you to all of you that have been a part of this journey past, present, and those who are a part of the future. Time for you get to the good stuff and enjoy the first round of Pose Fair for 2018!

Until then, onto the next conversation…

[#430] We’re Far From Obvious This Time

Cold
But I’m still here (blind)
‘Cause I’m so blind (say never)
Cold
Now we’re so cold (mine)
And you’re not mine (say never)
We’re far from obvious this time

Cold (But I’m Still Here)♫ – Evans Blue

Hello once again and welcome to my little artistic corner of the world where I try my best to provide works of art intermixed with fashion and multifaceted emotions. Now is that time of year when all the clothing designers start releasing oodles and oodles of winter attire and all the various locations in-world become wintery reminders of your real life that you desperately try to escape from (haha). Regardless of that it does add to the realism of everything and can make for some really good creativity.

I recently discovered the snowy wonderland known as D.O.X and after a little bit of exploration I decided to set a scene. I pulled together some really cool items for my look that were definitely weather appropriate (because who goes out in a snowy cold environment in like a t-shirt or shorts?) One of the best things is that I didn’t have to cycle through tons of lighting to find the right ambience; I simply just used the recommended settings from the sim itself. The results came out satisfactory for me and helps me to feel like I am on a good stride as far as creating scenes goes.

Men Only Monthly has been a very good event this current round which is still going on for another week (it ends on the 15th of December). I spent a lot of time there and found many things that I’ve used in my recent works which is why I decided to put my name in the ring and applied to be a blogger for the event. I am hoping that I get in but I realize that the competition may be fierce as I am sure many other good bloggers/artists will be vying for a spot. It’ something I felt was worth giving a shot and regardless I can say I tried even if I do not make the cut.

This particular blog I’m featuring a skin by Avi-Glam which is available at Men Only Monthly. Of course you’ll get my insights into it down in the credits section so I have something to actually put there.

Most of items from currently running events came from Men Only Monthly but I did also make a trip to The Arcade which has just opened for a new round of random prize winning madness. I am thankful that I managed to escape there with only minimal damage this time which is a small victory for me personally!

Before I leave you to the credits, I have to make an admission of a goof. As I was putting the credits together I realized that I hadn’t worn the Daniel head for a while and cannot recall which eyes I had last used with it so I couldn’t credit it in good faith because if I was wrong it would to me be considered as misinformation and that is not my intention at all. If I do recall which eyes were used I will come back to this post and edit it accordingly.

There is much more work to do with items I’ve picked up in the last week so I’m going to go jump into that as this blog entry can be considered a wrap. I hope you check back to see what adventures I’m getting into next and I will gladly welcome you back.

Onto the next conversation…

HEADCATWA – Daniel

FACE⊱ AG. Trevor Skin – Ivory @ M.O.MNEW

The latest release in the Avi-Glam skin line, Trevor has very soft facial features and seems to work best with wearing the CATWA “Daniel” head as that is what is suggested by the creator. There are 6 skin tones to choose from and appliers for male mesh bodies are sold separately. The body shape and eyebrow shaper are included in the product package if you desire. Each skin HUD gives several eyebrow color options when applying (no brows is also an option).

I find that this skin reminds me of the actor, Ezra Miller, who appears as The Flash/Barry Allen in the recently released “Justice League” movie. I am not sure if that is what the creator intended with this but that’s just what I see when I look at my avatar closely.

BODYBelleza – Jake

JACKET⊱ BlankLine – Down jacket **RARE** @ The ArcadeNEW

Rarely do I find myself wearing a puffer jacket (see what I did there?) This pull prize from BlankLine’s machine at the December 2017 edition of The Arcade has a HUD option in which you can change two parts of the jacket as well as 4 different types of sweater. After having looked at the key for the machine I believe this RARE version is all of the other jackets offered as a FATPACK sort of deal where you can use all of the colors in any combination you wish to. It’s a fantastic product and the design and textures used are top notch.

COMPATIBLE WITH: Belleza and Signature mesh bodies.

PANTS⊱ AITUI – Aero Pants – Fat Pack @ M.O.MNEW

Lately I am finding that AITUI is hitting a home-run with their releases. Previously in a blog entry I was wearing their sweatpants from the November round of TMD and really liked them and they also in the same time frame put out these pants at Men Only Monthly. I have been trying to be more of a well behaved blogger and not buy every FATPACK I see because it tends to get costly in the long term but all the different options for this item caught my eye and I couldn’t resist. 6 different colors with two metals to choose from on the buttons are what this full pack consists of. You can also get each of these in singular form if you do not want all of the options and that’s definitely up to you.

COMPATIBLE WITH: Belleza, Signature, SLink and TMP mesh bodies.

BOOTSYasum – Generator Boots – Black

I previously purchased these boots at the Hipster Men’s Event in one of the previous rounds but could not find the right outfit to pair them with until now. I was really hoping I could use them and I found a way to do so. The AITUI pants had just the right height to where I could wear these properly without any clipping (which bugs me to no end).

COMPATIBLE WITH: Belleza and Signature male bodies.

Photo Taken @ D.O.X

Go&See * Bold * Bento Pose Pack (2) @ M.O.MNEW

The second of two new pose releases from Go&See, “Bold” is just as it’s name infers. These poses are meant for those who like to puff out their chest a little bit and show what they are about. I really like the poses so far from the brand but if I could change anything about them is with most poses you can combine them with a locking T-Pose so you can stand there and not have your camera move with you as you are setting up an angle. These do not allow for that so a pose stand is necessary so you do not wind up frustrated because your camera keeps resetting and your position changes. It’s something that’s also helpful for sims that do not have rez rights groups and you really want to use it for a scene.

[#428] Whatever It Takes

I do whatever it takes to make it
Break through anything I’m face to face with
It’s true, you gonna make me lose my patience
‘Cause victory is mine and I’mma take it

Whatever It Takes♫ – Hollywood Undead

This blog entry has been over a year in the making and I’m so glad it finally happened. Once again I’ve paired up with the super talented fellow swag master, Nile from the Double Trouble blog to bring you a super awesome collaboration. We have both been wanting to work together again since our first initial collaboration for Halloween last year. Schedules as you know don’t always permit but we finally were able to pin a day down to knock this out and man did we ever.

When I first saw the shopping guide for the Men Only Monthly event I knew that I just HAD to do something with the Heist gacha from BlankLine. When I came up with the idea for what Nile and I were going to do it was just natural that we put together a scene using some of the items from it. We both took different looks for our type of bank robber with Nile taking a more urban approach and me going with a more classical old school bank robber. Both of us gear up with BPV’s (Bullet Proof Vests) to keep us safe in case we encountered any trouble from the 5-0.

Products that I’m featuring in this post mostly comprise of items from the BlankLine gacha which is currently up for sale at Men Only Monthly; so if you yourself have an idea for a gangster or bank heist type composition that’s a good place to start with.

I’m also once again featuring the “Hope Eyes” from Avi-Glam (a brand partner) for this look because I am really enamored with the eyes in this set and their detail is fantastic. There is not one color out of this set that I wouldn’t wear for a shoot if it was what called for it.

As I wrap up another entry I look back at the process of this collaboration and I could be more happy or excited with how it turned out; I also look forward to future collaborations with Nile as well as anyone else who’d like to do team-up in the upcoming year. 2018 will be one of more collaborations and working with people who I admire as well as want to work with to try new things.

For more information on Nile and his blog, Double Trouble, just click on the blog name which is linked and there you’ll get to see his other works as well as work from his co-author, Macie, you’ll also be able to see his version of this shoot as well as his style credits!

That’s all I’ve got for this adventure be sure to check back again for the road ahead and it’s been an honor and a pleasure.

HAIRStealthic – Psycho

This was one of my Black Friday sale goodies as I really liked this hair and knew that I could find something good to use it with. When this scene idea came into my head I knew it was the prefect hair for me to use. I originally was going to pair it with one of the face wraps in the BlankLine gacha but I opted to leave my face uncovered as it was post robbery. This hair has 6 different color HUDs to choose from as well as a HUD for changing the color of the beanie. What’s even cooler about this is there is a styling HUD to change the appearance of the hair in different positions and styles.

HEADLeLutka – Andrea v 3.1

EYES⊱ AG. Hope Eyes – Fern @ Shiny ShabbyNEW

For a second straight post (if you check back at my last entry you’ll get more info on this product) I’m wearing these eyes but went with the Fern color as it matched the scene considering all the money that is around the two bank robbers.

OUTFIT⊱ BlankLine – Gang Bullet Proof Vest Suits (02) RARE @ M.O.MNEW

It wasn’t an easy task much as robbing a bank would be I imagine to pull this item from the machine being that it is a RARE. Though I persevered so that I could use it for this look as it was an integral part of the scene that I was setting up. As with my usual blogs I post what bodies my clothes and accessories work with but this suit does not specify, however, I believe that it would work with just about any male body with alphas clicked off. I’m wearing the Belleza body and it looks good without any problems.

SHOES[MODA] BLAKE OXFORDS

GLOVES⊱ BlankLine – Gang Glove @ M.O.MNEW

Another part of BlankLine’s “Heist” gacha, these gloves are bento enabled and I alpha’d out my hands and this worked great with my body in combination with the suit and the pose. These are definitely something that would be fun to mess around with on other projects so it is something that could be used again and has a high re-use value. Worth a pull of the gacha or if you know someone that will trade or give you a copy it’s well worth it.

WRONG & The Owl. Human Race @ M.O.MNEW

I managed to find 3/4 of all that was used in this scene at Men Only Monthly, including this pose. What was really nice about this pose as that it needed no adjusting other than a minor tweak of my body shape which wasn’t even that big of a deal. I thought this really captured the tone of the two robbers settling in after heist and celebrating their victory in front of their spoils. This is also a great pose you can use with a really good friend or even a family member for a photo.

And then I fell apart and got back up gain yeah

Alibi♫ – 30 Seconds To Mars

Hope everyone has had a good weekend that just past since my last entry was before then. For those of you in places that are celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday, you are probably preparing to travel or are in the midst of traveling. Everyone is getting their appetites whetted for good food and commiseration. For this entry I did a few things different in how I take my photos so hopefully you’ll like them as much as I did taking them.

On the first two shots I’m posting today I went with one specific windlight and for my second closeup shot I changed settings to see what they would look like and was amazed at what I was seeing so I wanted to capture it and share it with you as well. This setup (photo prop) aside is one that I put together using random things that I had lurking in my inventory closet. I’m self admittedly one of the worst decorators or set designers on the planet and even I was rather proud of what I put together.

I‘m also happy to announce that for a second term I’ll be continuing to blog for one of my favorite pose brands, Image Essentials. I really enjoy trying to bring out my best with their products because they are made very well and even with some poses that are meant for females, I’m managed to go outside of the box and make them work for me in many different situations such as with the item I’m featuring from them in this scene. “The Waiting Game” is available currently at the 4Mesh event (formerly Mesh Body Addicts) until the end of the month. I’ll tell you more about it in the credits so you have more info there.

Avi-Glam also has new eyes just recently released that I’ve been given the privilege of being able to show you from the Industrie Event that has just opened. More on these as well in the credits section.

This shot is one I am particularly proud of. I used a different type of lighting along with the LUMIPro Photography Assistant. The tone and mood for this really put me over the moon with how well it turned out and I think it turned out better than any of the other shots that I did for this entry. Most artists are overly critical of their work and I’m one of those that tends to take it to the extreme. I want to evoke as much emotion and creativity I can while making it look beautiful and outstanding.

Hopefully from this moment on I’ll be able to style my photos better to not only show you great items and fashion from a virtual world but to also tell stories behind human emotion like I’ve been doing since day one (and four hundred twenty four previously). If anyone has any tips they’d like to share with me then I’ll favor that and enjoy any open discussion.

Now that I’ve spent a little (more like a lot) of time rambling I’m going to get you to those credits and thoughts about the latest items being covered in today’s scene. Thank you again for joining me on another adventure.

HAIR⊱ { Speakeasy } Clay Hair ♯ MarketplaceNEW
This hair is a really epic deal. { Speakeasy } was nice enough to place this hair which is a FATPACK on the marketplace for 1L…yes that is right just 1L. How insane is that? It also comes with a Black Hairbase and a White Tintable version also on an Omega applier HUD. There are 5 color packs to choose from and since you have all of the colors you can go all out and have one color hair today and another one tomorrow if you choose to. This is definitely one of the best bargains I’ve seen come along recently because you just can’t beat the quality for the price.

HEADLeLutka – Andrea v 3.1

EYES⊱ AG. Luster Eyes @ IndustrieNEW
These eyes only come in a FATPACK only, so you get 6 colors in a HUD (Individual appliers for CATWA, LeLutka and Omega) as well as one that come with the standard mesh eyes. These eyes are very striking and are ones that are good for many uses and purposes not just every day regular wear. These are easily worth going to the Industrie event and checking out (as well as many great other items).

FACEStray Dog – Cody T2

BEARDVolkstone Corleone Beard [Black 1] + Facial Hair
A nice thick beard which comes with a HUD (Catwa and Omega) to give you the base of the beard along with the mesh unrigged and resizeable beard that will keep your face nice and warm in the cooler weather as well as looking very badass as well.

BODYBelleza – Jake

SHIRT⊱ Chuck Size -Miller Long Sleeve (Striped Effect) @ M.O.MNEW
Lately I have been seeing the Chuck Size brand more and more at events but this is my first time purchasing one of their items and I am not disappointed. This really cool long sleeved top comes in several designs (in which I thought I’d rock a striped shirt seeing as how I don’t own many and I like them). I am wearing it on the Belleza body and it fits perfectly along with the jeans I am wearing. The combination turned out hassle free and as close to perfection as anything can get.

COMPATIBLE With: Adam, Belleza, Signature, SLink and TMP male bodies.

JEANSBlankLine – StandardJeans

BOOTS⊱ not so bad – ANDY Desert Boots (Beige) @ TMDNEW
It could easily be said that these boots would fall under the Chukka category. They are nicely made and give that feel that they’ve kinda been worn pretty well but aren’t ready to go in the trash bin yet. I really am a fan of these boots and I did pick up the FATPACK of these because I know I can use them again in the future. Shoes are much harder to come by in the way of clothing for guys (aside from usual sneakers low and hi variety).

Compatible With: Belleza, Signature, SLink, Standard (Unrigged) and TMP male bodies.

IE – The Waiting Game (b) @ 4MeshNEW
This pose prop (that’s right it is a building facade prop) comes with 5 different poses (including mirrors) that are meant to be for the ladies as they are labeled “cute” but they certainly work for males as well with maybe minimal shape adjustment. This poses certainly will work for just about everyone and excellent scenes can be created with them. This item is exclusively being sold right now and 4Mesh until the end of the month. I suggest you go take a look, and also check out what else Image Essentials has to offer!

[#416] Not Meant For Me

The jury is coming
coming to tear me apart
all this bitching and moaning
Come on, it’s on!

Not Meant For Me” – Jonathan DavisListen

This my first Halloween inspired scene for 2017 and I feel like I’m starting off strong. This is intended to be a two part post in which the second will come within the next week as a collaboration with some fellow blogger friends of mine. I’m not going to give away all the details because I want to garner some interest for readers to come back to take a look.

Ever since I was younger I had a fascination with vampires and their myths. From television shows such as Dark Shadows and Moonlight to films like Salem’s Lot, The Lost Boys, and 30 Days Of Night as well as classic novels by Bram Stoker and Anne Rice featuring titillating characters of the undead variety. I have always been drawn to the stories of their struggle and romanticism behind them. A lot of people love these pop culture icons that have withstood the test of time itself.

This particular photo session was inspired by “The Queen of The Damned” film starring Stuart Townsend and the late Aaliyah. I was fortunate enough that the LeLutka Andrea bento head comes with a pair of fangs to help me complete my look.

The scene was shot on location at a friend’s Haunted House which will be opening soon but is not yet completed which is why at this time I won’t be providing a taxi as it is not yet open to the public. When it does become available I will give you an update in a future entry.

Brands contributing review copies for this post include Go&See with the “Robin” shape and “Christian” skin (which I have shown in previous posts) as well as MESANGE with their “Arden Eyes” that I’ve also displayed in previous entries.

This particular post has a heavy presence from the Hipster Men’s Event and also The Men’s Department. Upcoming coverage is going to include the new round of Men Only Monthly as well as Shiny Shabby and The Epiphany. I intend to visit some others as well that I hope to utilize products from.

I hope you enjoyed joining me in this adventure and I will be back again soon with another installment. Below are the styling credits with transportation to the stores and events all products can be found at.

BODYBelleza – Jake
SHAPE⊱ Go&See * Robin * Lelutka Bento @ M.O.MNEW

This is the first shape created for the LeLutka Andrea head by Go&See. While I am wearing their “Christian” skin, I’ve found that several other Go&See skins work just as well with it and I am sure with other experimenting other brands could work as well. It also comes with a brow shaper and style card for those who want to nab the look out of the box.

SHIRT⊱ etham – Saul Henley @ TMDNEW

For casual clothing lovers, etham is one of those who always knows what products to create for long term wear. As a personal preference, I like long sleeved shirts that do not have collars and this Henley shirt is just the thing. I picked up the Fatpack because the price of it alone is well worth making use of the dozen colors you can change via the included HUD. You can also change the button colors as well for extra functionality.

Compatible with: Belleza, NX-Nardcotix, Signature, SLink, Standard, and TMP male mesh bodies.

<K&S> Fearless. Bento Poses 3 (2) @ Hipster Men’s EventNEW

For the second straight month, K&S has released another “Fearless” 3 pose set at Hipster Men’s Event. I’m not sure how long it will continue but I’ve been enjoying these so I do hope that they continue to so I can continue to feature them in my scenes.
