I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday weekend (those of you who celebrate/observe Thanksgiving). Most everyone is enjoying leftovers while going over some of their real life shopping excursions. I am a little bit under the weather so I haven’t really been out as there really wasn’t much that caught my fancy but I did manage to hit some sales in-world bringing home some new poses to intermingle with some of my scenes.

With the last few days focusing on those that I’m thankful for: family, friends and colleagues but this year I’m most thankful for the special person in my life. She’s certainly helped me see a lot of things that I might not have before and this scene and song choice is dedicated to her.

I have some really cool things I am featuring from my brand partners in this look. Modulus has returned to making hair and at the Industrie event, they have released the “Max” hat and hair combination. I’ve even had the pleasure of speaking with the owner of Modulus, Chucky Hollak, and I have it on good authority that this is only the beginning and there will be new future hairstyles in the works. If this is the beginning of something new then consider me excited.

MESANGE has new eyes up for sale at the newly restocked Men Only Monthly for Nov/Dec. Of course I will give you the details down below in the credits so I can keep this as short and sweet for you as possible. I tend to get long winded at times when I have things I like and want to talk about.

Another new exciting thing is Go&See who are well known for skins for both men and women as well as eyes have ventured into the pose market. One of their first set of four male pose releases is also available at Men Only Monthly. More on those as well down in the credits as well.

With having had several items from Industrie and Men Only Monthly in the last few posts, I’m also giving some love to ULTRA, The Men’s Department and Man Cave in this post. I find that a small amount of events always get the most attention from me and it’s not that I don’t visit other events, it just seems I am just find more that suits my style. I’m always on the look out for new events and brands to feature in my looks/scenes and that won’t change.

When it comes to long sleeved shirts and colder weather there’s nothing better than the feeling of flannel. I’ve always had a flannel shirt to wear on top of short sleeved shirts or just by themselves and I have always been comfortable. Finding this at the ULTRA event was a great moment as I was able to have one in my virtual world as well that fit the body that I am wearing now without any hassle. There are several colors at the event to choose from so there is sure to be one you’ll like. I’m only disappointed that it wasn’t released as a FATPACK too because I likely would have given my money for it; I’m so very tempted to return and get at least one more color.

These oxfords are very versatile in the fact that they look good with both jeans as you can see for yourself up above; they also work well with slacks/dress pants. This is definitely worth the price, an exceptional value.

Some time has passed and I’ve had time to process some things but first and foremost I wanted to pay tribute to a musician that has had an impact not only on myself but on countless others. Regardless of whether you like the music of Linkin Park it’s hard to deny that they hold a place in the annals of music legend. Creatively written lyrics and a combination of soft vocals and raw guttural screams they came a long way from the beginning of the rap/rock scene.

When the news broke that Chester had passed a large range of emotions had filled my head. It just seemed like so many people that I admired from a music fan standpoint were suddenly just disappearing. Unfortunately I won’t ever be able to see the band in concert but I will still have the music that was created at my disposal to listen to and remember fondly. My heart truly goes out to his family, friends, and bandmates. The world is missing one light that seemed to flicker bright even when shrouded in so much darkness.

There were a few songs I could have used for the theme of this photo shoot but I think what I chose as the final is the best to represent how I feel and many others as well. If you find yourself needing to talk to someone because you are having a tough time do not be afraid, there is always someone out there with an ear to lend even if you do not think they do. Full credits are below so I will let you dig into those but I also have to say that I did edit one of the record sleeves on the pose prop just in case you like it enough to buy it and see that it is not as it appears here. The update adds a hoodie you can wear with the jacket which I feel was a nice added touch. There are no specific sizes for mesh bodies on this but should work with just about all of them with the use of alpha cuts.

Due to some of the issues I had lately it took me longer to get these put into a look. ROMP is in its last day of being open for this round but there is still time to run out and get these pants. Some time has passed since FLite has come out with a new release but at the n21 event they have come back with a vengeance. The NoMads sneakers are really cool. Reasonably priced and you get all the styles available in the HUD that is included. You really can’t beat it for a pair of shoes from my personal top 5 favorite shoe creators. Being that I am an audiophile (a lover of music) this pose/prop really caught my attention. It was originally at the Cosmopolitan event but I had purchased it just before the round it was in closed as I had almost forgotten that it was featured there. There are poses inside the prop for the gals as well as unisex poses and each of them are adjustable so you can get the best angle/look that fits you. This was one of the defining parts of this entry as it gelled with the emotion that I was going for.

I‘ve returned after drawing some inspiration from the olden days of music but adding a little bit of TCK twist to it to make it work. I’ve always been fascinated by the music of The Talking Heads from back when I was younger and still kind of finding my way through what I liked music wise. I think it is because of artists like this I have found an appreciation for many different kinds of music.

Artistically I like to create images that may seem different or odd to some but are perfectly normal to me. That’s the beauty of art, you don’t really have to like it if you don’t want to because at some point there will be someone that will and I am quite alright with that. I know I enjoy it at least so it starts from there.

I managed to find a really great background prop to use for this photo session that made the idea that I had in my head a little easier. At first I was not sure how I was going to pull it off or if I was going to try and use post production but I found an item that fit perfectly.

Stealthic has been around for a short time as a part of the virtual hair creating scene. What I like best about this brand (which many brands are starting to do as well) is offer a styling HUD so that you can have a variation of it that may sway to either the right or the left of maybe even have it a little more fly-away. It’s just one of the things I consider a value when making a purchasing decision and a feature that I think is being more sought after. With 6 different color packs to choose from (a FATPACK is also available) there’s no reason not to check out this hair.

When browsing through TMD and seeing a lot of the usual suspects that I have come to know, love, and admire, I came across a new skin by a brand that I had never previously heard of before. Amias really did a good job with the “KIAN” skin (which comes in a choice of 3 tones). Also available at their booth are the body appliers (which you can get for Belleza, Signature, and SLink bodies). This Catwa applier has several options to choose from (no brows to several colored brows as well as clean shaven to two different lengths of stubble). I am very impressed with this product and would recommend it for anyone looking to give something new a try.

Some time has passed since I purchased a product from Ascend and while I was strolling through FaMESHed I came across their latest release (a jacket/shirt combination) the “Marc” Jacket. Sold individually or as a FATPACK, these jackets have a color change HUD included for the shirt to give you several options to fit your style. I purchased the Plain version, but there are also three other versions available (Denim, Pinstriped and Tweed).

While I cannot officially say these pants were meant to be a part of a whole suit (combined with the Marc Jacket) but I will say that they compliment one another very well. The shoes are a part of a whole suit that was being offered at an event quite a long time ago but since I had them sitting around and they worked with the look I was going for I thought I would wear them. One thing I never anticipated was actually being able to find a house that was actually on fire. With some scouring over the marketplace I was able to find this build which worked perfectly as a back setting in which my theme was based off of. It also gives off that kind of eerie vibe to it as well if you are able to look close enough.
