When I discovered the news that Grumpy Cat, one of the internet’s most memed felines had passed away a sadness overcame me. Usually it is sad when a notable name passes away such as a musician or an actor/actress leaves the world but this one seemed to carry a bit of weight for me. Grumpy Cat was what I jokingly called my “spirit animal” and made it cool to be grumpy (even though done in a playful way. The memes created by fans and officially by the Grumpy Cat brand itself were usually always hilarious if not even savage at times.
I did this post as a tribute and to honor one of my favorite things over the past 7 years that’s entertained me and countless others. The news has been out for several weeks now but I wanted to make sure that when I did something that it looked and felt right to me and I’m pretty content with the outcome. So with that I say thank you Tardar Sauce (aka Grumpy Cat) for giving the world a reason to laugh even thought it was awful.
In blogging news, I’ve become the newest member to the Session Skins blogger team. I’ve been a fan of the store for quite a while and have blogged them quite a lot in the past and they saw something in me to bring me aboard which brings me a lot of joy. I can creatively find ways to feature both men’s and women’s products (which I’ve become more confident in doing now).
For the first of many posts to feature Session Skins I started with “Axel” which is specific to the LeLutka Guy mesh head. The detail on these skins is fantastic and each new release seems to come with unique options that really make them stand out from other skin creators. This release has the beard already a part of it which will make enthusiasts of facial hair like myself happy; it also has an option for an eyebrow scar as well as a cheek mole which both can be added and removed at the user’s desire.

Later in the week I’ll be starting coverage for the 2019 edition of the Vintage Fair; it’ll be the first time blogging this event for Pale Girl Productions. After blogging the Skin Fair in January and feeling that for me it was successful I’m particularly looking forward to seeing what kind of things I can do for this event. I’ve shopped at it for the past several years and always found things I liked and blogged which I know will happen again now that I’m an official participant.
I have managed to make it through this tribute post so I am hoping that the next post I do will be something that isn’t sad (at least I would prefer it not be). Though I can’t say if it will or won’t be dark in tone as I do enjoy venturing down that path more often then I do taking photos in a sunny happy happy setting (it’s just the way I am). Maybe sometime this week I’ll do a couples setting with Brenna because that’d be fun as well.
Lots of possibilities for what appears next which is the way I like it.
