As I’m sitting here typing this the weather is insanely beautiful and I’ve got the window open and it’s pretty calm and peaceful. I feel the photo that I did yesterday reflects the mood of right this minute but the weather has been nice over the weekend so far with only a small bit of rain so I can’t complain about that. This is probably the unofficial kickoff to me posting lots of warm weather photos because there’s no reason why I or anyone else would take photos with jackets or parkas (clothing of that type is done for at least 4 or 5 months).
Today’s the last day of Pose Fair and like many of my fellow event bloggers, I encourage you if you haven’t been there to take a quick look to see if there’s something you might need for blogging or photography purposes. HB Poses released a great surfboard prop and pose set at the event that I felt should get some coverage especially with the mood that I’m in.
My photo was also inspired by the music video for the song I picked as the soundtrack as it features surfing to a degree as well as my look may have also caught some of the vibes from the surfer in the video as well. I wasn’t looking to directly take from it as that’s never my intention when it comes to things that inspire me but I did want to pay a little tribute at least.

Man Cave is the place to go if you want to check out this slick hairstyle by lock&tuft. Now whenever my son Eli (aka Alyx Banks) releases a new hair that has references to members of the family (in this case my brother/his uncle Lucky) it takes precedence for me to blog as soon as I possibly can. Not that other styles are not as good but it just makes it super exciting.
I have to say that it has a surfer look to it and that is why setting it is a the centerpiece of the look was important to me; I even styled it as a light/bleached blonde tone that works with the windlight I chose to make sure it didn’t completely get washed out.
The wetsuit I have on is a part of a gacha from RIOT that I found as a bargain (when you have placed yourself on a budget it helps keep the cost done). The blue in the wetsuit (which is referred to as glacier) works with the scene as well and more so than any of the other colors in the set. Plus I figured going with a shade of blue in a surfing pose worked best.

Now I can look forward to more blogs with no shirts, short sleeves or tanktops as well as shorts that I can visit beaches and parks to photograph at. This is literally my favorite time of the year so I’m going to make use of it and pull out some of my favorite songs for warm weather that haven’t found their way onto the blog as soundtracks already.
That only leads me to make a small plea to the content creators on the grid. Now you can start making hair and clothing to reflect the change of seasons (at least I hope you take it into consideration!) I’m really looking forward to seeing what I come up with now that the weather doesn’t suck and my mood has improved exponentially.
