[#555] Calling You

As I said in the last blog I would likely not be posting another winter themed pic but that almost became a misspoken truth as I was wandering around and found a spot or two that I could have done something with but I don’t want to exhaust that well too quickly (least of all not in December already). I’ve once again found a nice spot within the I Am (SL) Amsterdam sim and got to make friends with a kitty (well of course logically that didn’t happen) and came away with a great pair of photos to put into this blog post.

I was a bit worried that with my outfit I wouldn’t be able to come up with a song to work as the soundtrack but with how everything work out I decided on “Calling You” by Blue October for two reasons: the first being that I felt my facial look was a tad like Justin Furstenfeld and the second was the words of the song have a meaning to me personally. I can see how it applies to the way I feel about my special someone and when your gut tells you to go on something you do it.

Man Cave ends tonight and I have a few items from the event that I think are really great and worth checking out before they head to their respective brands main store locations.

I’ll start out with the “Chase Hair” by Modulus not only because they are one of my brands but also most of the time I like to start from top to bottom when writing about products. This is a mid length release with some locks cascading in the front of the face (and there are left and right versions included to choose the best side to photograph from or the best way to make it realistic). I thought this really went well with the kind of grunge look I was going for (and I go to this style more often then not).

You’ll recall that the first batch of designs were a part of the November round of The Men’s Department which I previously blogged but for the Man Cave a new crop of fun designs have been added which can be put together by the HUD that comes with any of the shirts packs.

I am wearing the Broccozilla shirt because it tickled my funny bone and clearly was a fun design (and also reminded me a little of Groot from Guardians Of The Galaxy). I’ve said plenty of times before that when these two brands get together that magic happens and that is true because of all the releases that I currently own from them I find a way to put them into later blog entries or just wear them when I’m not in blog mode.

It feels like a better time than any to get this blog posted so that anyone who wants to sneak into the Man Cave event before it closes can do so and take a look at some really great items that are for sure worth being brought into a respective wardrobe and also homes (for those decor items that are must haves). A new week has started which means that it is time for me to start thinking about what to do next for this site.

Also I’m still trying to figure out how to get better at ending blogs but until then I will just have to suck it up with the realization that it isn’t a strong suit of mine. Hopefully this week is filled with great events, shopping and good times across the grid and I will be back again soon with the next conversation.
