“I think I need help
‘Cause I’m drowning in myself
It’s sinking in, I can’t pretend
That I ain’t been through hell…“
“Help” – Papa Roach ♫Listen♫
Another weekend approaches and there’s plenty of goodies to cover. For those of you who are returning readers, welcome back! For those of you who are just finding this little space on the web for the first time then I kindly greet you and hope that you enjoy the sights of These Conversations Kill.
This entry is predominantly about The Men’s Department, which opened its doors to a new round on the 5th of June. I managed to find a lot of goodies to share with you, one of which is a review copy. There are so many good things to find there this month that it could take several posts to cover them all and that’s even piling a bunch of them up in this current look I’m about to discuss. Since there is so much to talk about, let me get right into it.
Modulus once again has another new hairstyle reflective of one of the most notable roman emperors in history. Last time I covered the “Caesar” hair and now just released is the “Julius” hair. While the styles bare a similar resemblance to one another, the “Julius” has longer hair in front. There are five color packs that you can choose from or the option to buy all of them at once for more variety and value. As with their previous release, this is definitely a great style for summer that I think you gentleman would really like.
As a member of the {Cold-Ash} blogger team, I was honored with a copy of the “JONAS” Muscle Tee. I have nothing but good things to say about this product as it fits perfectly with the pants I am about to talk about in a few moments. There are two different sets of color packs you can choose from: Classic and Light, (Classic has 8 different colors, Light has 6). There are sizes that will fit just about every male mesh body out there including the new Belleza “Jake”. If your someone who likes to be out in the warm weather and dislikes having any kind of sleeves, this is definitely an item for you. Look on the bright side, you’re able to show off those muscles when you are out and about for people to take notice.
Clef de Peau, they have become a very versatile brand as they’ve branched out from just being male and female skin designers. They also have launched clothing lines for both the gals and fellas as well and are very appealing whenever you find them at an event such as TMD. They have just released a set of clothes to which I only selected the pants as I already had my top lined up. When I came across the “Bootcut” Pants, it was truly hard to pick a color because there were so many good ones to choose from but in the end I went with Navy as most times I play it safe and choose monotone colors like black or white. These pants are perfect for those of you who like to wear boots of any type, well maybe save for cowboy boots. They certainly go great with high tops such as the ones I am wearing in this look that I’ll be talking about shortly. Clothing like this makes me look forward to the next Clef de Peau release.
The moment I saw the advertisement for the “FEARLESS STOMPERS” from [VALE KOER] I knew that I had complete my look. They were not available right away on opening day but I already had the majority of my outfit complete and all I needed was some footwear and these were just what I needed. With it being [VALE KOER] I couldn’t resist buying the Fatpack as the unlimited amount of customization that can be achieved by doing so made it an easy sell. What also sold me about these shoes is that they are a combination of a Chuck Taylor and a modern style boot. Inside the product package there are sizes for both male and female mesh bodies and also an unrigged version for those who have yet to make the plunge to mesh (by now most people have) or those that don’t have the right body to make fitting work for them.
Now that I’ve covered everything in this look that is at TMD, I’m going to move on to the Souled Out event in which I am wearing the “Lucent Eyes” by Avi-Glam. This item is also a part of blogger pack which I was given the full set, which consists of 25 different iris tones. These eyes are very well made and would be ones that I could easily wear for every day non-blogging. Besides the included mesh eyes, there are also HUDs for Catwa, LeLutka, and Omega compatible eyes. Also you have the option between Small, Medium, and Large sized pupils. If you’ve been waiting for the right time to shop for a new set of eyes, then this would be the time and product to get.
Knot & Co. is putting on the Only Summer Project in which BodyLanguage SLC has been kind enough to offer the “Thumbs Up A” Bento pose pack. This pack consists of 6 poses with included mirrors. So for those of you who want to take a picture showing how much you like something, this pose pack definitely deserves a thumbs up!
I’d also like to quick give a shout out to the Lockwood sim where these photos were taken. It’s a very well put together pose-apocalyptic sim that is definitely worth exploring even if you are not a photographer. I’ve included transportation to get there if you want to take a look at it, it’s certainly worth it in my opinion.
That should do it for another entry and I encourage you to follow the transportation to the stores and events available below in the full credits and be sure to grab demos first to ensure these products are right for you. It’s been an honor bringing you this look and these photos and until next time, stay stylish fellas!
