A lot of bloggers out there tend to stick with only the current and new items in their entries but sometimes I like to mix some of the new items from current events to some of my more favorite items within a certain time range or from a certain brand that I know is relevant and still kicking butt on the fashion scene. One of those that comes to mind is [Deadwool]. In my last posting I wore the “Strider” boots because it fit with what I was working with. For this look I combined some of my new items with the “Pleated” Jeans. I’ve featured them a few times but that is the brilliance of purchasing the full packs because you are not always wearing the same one each time out.
One of my favorite brands, Modulus, has two new offerings at the freshly restocked “Limit8” event. For those of you who are unfamiliar with it, it is full of different designers and items with at least one item with a limited amount of product to sell and once it’s sold out it will no longer be sold again in that form. There are two items from Modulus being sold and I’ll start with the “Tate” Hair. It’s a hair that is in between the short to medium range and is combed over to the right side with a little bit of a floaty look. This item is not one of the limited items but it goes perfectly with the “David” hairbase that is also being sold and is the limited edition item for the event of which only 100 copies will be sold. I would take a trip there as soon as you can to take a look at this item because I have no doubt it will go fast.
Also recently re-opened is the Men Only Monthly event, which happens to be one of the ones I look forward to each 20th day of the month. I have two different items from it but we’ll start first with the review copy of the “Andrej” skin from Avi-Glam. I like the youthful look that this skin provides and goes excellent with the “Dante” Shape that is also available at M.O.M. Avi-Glam has also relaunched their body skins which “Andrej” is the first release to get the treatment of new and updated skin tones. There are 8 tones to choose from (Ivory, Fair, Light, Honey, Latte, Tan, Dark, and Cocoa) and the v2 body appliers which you can find at their main location have an option for soft or athletic. Head over to Men Only Monthly and grab some demos because you might just like what you see and want to have it for yourself.
One of my many weaknesses when it comes to shopping (other than skins or gacha machines) is shoes. If it is made by one of my favorite designers there’s more than likely a chance that I’m going to buy it and buy a full pack at that. Kustom9 certainly pulled me in when I saw the “TCHEKOV” Sneakers. These shoes are based off one of the popular brands of low top shoes that I’m not going to name specifically but can tell you that it is named after an animal. The color choice I went with this time is the Suede Cream as it is something that I might not normally go with but I went out of my comfort zone of monotone type colors and felt this fit pretty well with the rest of the outfit. Inside the package you will find sizes for Belleza, Maitreya, SLink and TMP for the gals respectively) and Gianni, SLink, and TMP (for the fellas) as well as Unrigged for both.
For the pose and backdrop of this scene, I’m utilizing the Wetcat & Lemon’s “Alley” backdrop which you can find at FaMESHed until the end of the month. This set can be purchased with or without the animations if you decide that you would prefer to use your own. The one thing that bothered me about this is that to try and use my own lightning I had to edit the build and find the various light sources within it but it is a small price to pay really for a well put together backdrop.
