One of the main themes around this blog is music and how each story that is told within the pictures here contains elements from them, even the title is associated with a song. This particular entry is dedicated to the life and music of one Ian “Lemmy” Kilmister of the band, Motorhead. Many years have his gravelly voice echoed on various music playing devices in homes across the world.

Sadly, the world lost one of the most unique icons in music. A few days ago, Lemmy learned that he had an advanced form of cancer and within two days was gone. He will be remembered for his hard hitting style, and hard living lifestyle which many figured would consume him long before he reached the age of 70, which didn’t stop him from going out there and putting on a show.

I know you’re out there now somewhere, driving someone crazy and looking awesome with that sideburn/stache combo that you gave the name to. Thank you for all the memories that you’ve given so many music fans. May you rest peacefully sir.
